Preferential allotment in May 2019
On a month-on-month basis, the momentum related to raising money through preferential allotment was significantly subdued in May 2019.
The number of companies that raised capital through preferential allotment in May 2019 (six companies) was lower than April 2019 (13
companies). For full year CY18, 223 companies had raised capital through preferential allotment compared to 243 companies in CY17. YTD
CY19 (January 2019-May 2019), 67 companies have raised money through preferential allotment against 137 companies in January-April 2018.
