Company ProfileMontecore Snacks Co., Ltd. is a Thai ownedand operated American-style beef and pork jerkymanufacturer. Our jerky is produced under the brandHighlands Jerky. We aim to bring to the market thelargest imaginable range of dried meats processed in manystyles and flavors. Our production facility, equipment, andproduction process is inspected and approved by the Foodand Drug Administration of Thailand ensuring that ourproduct is always processed in both a safe and hygienicmanner. Our meat is washed with carbon and UV filteredwater and is dehydrated to have a water activity level(aw)of less that .75 making it shelf stable for well over half ayear; satisfying the strictest of import requirements.Traditionally, Jerky is sliced into thick piecesof meat that produces a product that is tough and, as thename suggests, jerky. Our R&D however have found outthat thinner strips of beef are more friendly to customerswho may have trouble chewing, such as those over 65years of age. Our jerky therefore still retains the traditionwestern taste of jerky but is easier to consume. 21.
