The luxury maison Montblanc has once again underlined its support for the art of writing by sponsoring Epica’s new Copywriting & Storytelling category. Montblanc has embraced the traditions of lasting values and exquiste craftmanship for over 100 years. The company’s uncompromising principles of design, style, quality and workmanship have allowed it to create heirloom collections that are passed on from generation to generation. As the only global creative awards judged by journalists, Epica decided this year to honour great writing in the fields of advertising and branded content. The Montblanc Copywriting & Storytelling prize will be presented at the Epica ceremony in Amsterdam on November 20. Montblanc International Press & PR Director Violante Avogadro di Vigliano commented: “The Epica Awards represent the creative community, where many of our most loyal customers can be found. Our iconic Meisterstück is 90 years old this year and we recently launched the ‘I tell stories’ campaign, therefore we’re delighted to support this category.” The Montblanc emblem is a “white star”, created in 1906, which represents the snowy Mont Blanc peak and the six glaciers from above. “The Montblanc emblem is a symbol of excellence – the pinnacle of luxury writing instruments, timepieces, jewellery, leather, eyewear and fragrances – and the brand has made an enduring commitment to encouraging excellence through cultural advancement.” The Epica Awards were founded in 1987 as the first creative prize awarded by the specialist press.
