Welcome to Montana Tech! Our entire campus—the faculty, staff, and a great group of students are looking forward to meeting you. Orientation provides a unique opportunity for you to meet friends and get involved. We hope you use this document as a guide for your Orientation events. Amtmann. Enjoy a root beer float at the top. Transportation available for those unable to Trek. (Meet in front of the SUB)

SATURDAY, AUGUST 23: Sign-up in the SUB for all field trips, and meet outside the SUB for transportation. 9:00 a.m. Running Amuck, 5K mud run/obstacle course sponsored by the Student Assistance Foundation, on

the Montana Tech campus for scholarship bucks. Register at www.SmartAboutCollege.org 3:30 p.m. Fairmont Hot Springs soak and bus trip to Dillon for the Tech Football vs. Western game.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 24: Sleep-in, relax, and get ready for college. 8:00 p.m. Enjoy a movie at the Silver Bow Drive-in (Transportation and tickets provided)

MONDAY, AUGUST 25: CLASSES BEGIN 11:00 a.m. Check out Montana Tech’s local Butte Businesses Fair (Courtyard) 9:00 p.m. 13th Annual Digger Hunt with $5,000 in prizes. (Meet outside the SUB)

TUESDAY, AUGUST 26: 3:30 p.m. Graduate School Orientation (SUB Big Butte Room) 4:00 p.m. Mandatory Student Veteran Orientation (SUB Copper Lounge) NOTE: For those unable to attend Tuesday, plan on attending Wednesday, September 3 at 12:00 p.m. in the Highlands College Conference Room 115. Pizza and pop will be served. 5:00 p.m. Graduate School BBQ (Courtyard)
