Ashton School Hockey Tour

Monday 25 August Assemble at Cork Airport, Terminal 1, for check-in two hours before
departure of your Aer Lingus flight departing at 0600 hrs to Amsterdam,
arriving at 0845 hrs. Pass through Airport Authorities, meet your coach and
enjoy a sightseeing tour of the windmills of Kinderdijk before checking into
your hotel in Noordwijk for a four nights’ stay. After settling in to your
accommodation you will transfer to a local pitch where you will be able to
undertake a training session before playing your first match of the tour.

Included Excursion: Training Session
Overnight: Noordwijk Hotel, Half Board or Full Board
Tuesday 26 August First thing this morning, you will have some time to explore Noordwijk
perhaps spend some time on the beach. In the afternoon transfer to local
club for a training session and your next games of the tour.
Matches 2: Local Hockey Side v Ashton School
Included Excursion: Training Session
Overnight: Noordwijk Hotel, Half Board or Full Board
Wednesday 27 August After breakfast, you could transfer to the Duinrell Tiki Pool, one of Europe’s
biggest indoor and outdoor waterparks. This excursion can be pre booked
with you paying the €21 entrance fee on arrival. This afternoon a pro
coaching session will be arranged with a local Dutch coach.

Overnight: Noordwijk Hotel, Half Board or Full Board
Thursday 28 August Today you could spend some time on the beach or you could decide to visit
Delft. Later in the afternoon you will transfer to play your final matches of the
tour.
Matches 3: Local Hockey sides v Ashton School
Overnight: Noordwijk Hotel, Half Board or Full Board
Friday 29 August After breakfast check out of your hotel and you will have some time for some
last minute shopping in Noordwijk. You will be able to visit Amsterdam where
you will enjoy a meal at a local pancake house and a canal cruise before coach
returns you to to Amsterdam Airport, arriving in time to check-in to your
flight departing at 2040 hrs, to Cork. On arrival back at 2215 hrs, pass through
Airport Authorities and disperse for home (own arrangements for getting
to/from the airport)

Flights & Taxes Aer Lingus flights including all current airport taxes and fuel surcharges
IMPORTANT NB: Please note that taxes are constantly changing. If
there is any difference in the above figures at the time of your final
invoice you will either be charged for the additional amount or receive a
credit.
Baggage Allowance Allowance of 20kgs of hold baggage and one item of carry on luggage per
person in compliance with your airline’s baggage policy. Plus three additional
kit bags for the whole party to utilise for kit and equipment.
Accommodation Hotel accommodation as follows for the entire party, students in multi bedded
rooms and staff in a twin. Should anyone require a single room – there will be
a single room supplement added to the cost.
Noordwijk Hotel four nights Half Board or Full Board
Fixtures Three Hockey Fixtures per squad , based on two squads as set out in the
itinerary. Coach Transport Overseas airport/hotel transfers and return transfers to all matches and
included sightseeing excursions, where necessary.

Price are based on 40 paying and 5 free places
