Get into Coding with ScratchJrTHURSDAY 9 JANUARY

ScratchJr is a great introduction to one of the most popular programming languages for young people. It’s also a great way to learn Scratch, one of the most popular coding tools used in primary schools. Come along to complete some coding activities and see how ScratchJr can teach the fundamentals of coding skills.

No coding experience is required, but each child will need an adult attending to assist them with the coding activities.

ScratchJR is a great app for introducing block coding but behind its simple interface there are some powerful features. In this workshop we will build on the Introduction to ScratchJR workshop to see how you can make more complex programs, stories and games.

Stop Motion Animation with Toonworld
