About MeHometown: Western Springs, Illinois

Academic Interests: Education, Art, Psychology, Sociology, English, History

Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Drawing, Baking, Internet, Friends

Why I chose Loyola: I chose Loyola because I’m a homebody and I wanted to be close to home. Also it was affordable and had great resources to use which made it more appealing. I really like the environment that it was in and how friendly all the people were. The final decision though was that there were so many things I could do here and I could hopefully figure out what I wanted to do.

GoalsAcademic Goals: To engage in challenging work. I plan on doing this by: • Take harder classes• Try harder problems if I find the ones I have are too easy• Interpret works in a different light and talk about it

Personal Goals: Building relationships and a support system. I plan on doing this by:• Make sure to be nice to as many people possible• Listen to people’s problems and help if I can• Hang out with friends and try to be friends with their friends

Commitment to Values: During my first semester at Loyola I will be able to demonstrate the value of service. Supporting the value of service means to me helping out without expecting anything in return. I will start living this value by doing the following:• Getting involved in service organizations• Helping out at the soup kitchen• Do service learning programs
