Future DocumentsMy interpretation of the future document is a collection of assets that describes in detail, one of the new and controversial social systems that make the United States unique: the Calculated People Units (CPU) system.
The essense of the CPU system is to view the Nation as an entity parallel to a Company. In a company, every single human asset is designed carefully, placed in systems and sub-systems to work as a large machine towards a common goal. Taking this highly utilitarian principle, in a nation where the goals are clearly delineated and shared amongst its citizen, where those who are deadweight are essentially “fired”, such a highly meritocratic system is born.
All three assets tell a story of the CPU system, from the end-users, to the citizens, to the neighbors of the United States. Each shed light on unique circumstances that result from this social system being implemented, ranging from nationalist group calling for boycott of United States products and services to a new industry in Mexico to overcome to correspondence limit between family members of deported ex-citizens.

56 PART 1
Calculated People Unit One of the crowning achievements in the United States social structure is the ability of Bentham to guage the effect of individuals in the greater success of the country. On a scale from 0 to infinity, the attributes of all individuals are calculated, from creativity and motivation, to talent and perseverance, the possible contribution to the nation is fully predicted for all citizens and potential citizens.
How does it work? Bentham collects data on every action of individuals, conscious or subconscious, and compares it to the needs and technological level of the country.
At the age of 18, citizens will be notified of their status and given a score. If a citizen is unable to reach the minimum score of 100, he can either choose to merge his score with his family members to form a complete family unit score and that would be used to measure against the 100 minmum. However, after the death of the members in that unit, the score will be recalibrated to test against the 100. Citizens below 100 for more than 30 days will be deported.
International Perception and Ethics International communities have expressed discontent with the CPU policy and labeled it as a “social eugenics” system. It is correct. There is nothing wrong with a eugenics program. In the early days of the United States, the eugenics debate ended with a correlation to racism and nativism. Our approach is entirely data driven, non-bias, and regardless of race, gender, and nationality, each individiual on the planet is given a chance to obtain citizenship provided that they prove worthy to be part of our community.
Traditionally members of a community are diverse in various characteristics and weaknesses of each member is complemented by the strength of another. Yet, human nature still breeds members who simply live off the wealth of the nation, on its welfare or just doing enough to get by individually, without ever contributing to the overall well-being of the nation significantly.
Critical ThinkingIs there a more effective way to understand the operational effectiveness of a nation’s citizen?Let Bentham know and get a chance to increase the nation’s efficiency!
Tensions between geographical neighbors exist due to impacts in the economy and social welfare of Canada and Mexico.
