Rethinking Geology
New Era of GeospatialIntelligencewww.mrtechnologies.ru
Modern Research Technologies
LookingDeeperLeveraging the satellite imaging to
support natural resource exploration
activities is nota new concept.
Doing so in a value-adding, cost-saving
and user-friendly manner has been a
challenge for manyyears.
We are now in a new era of geospatial
intelligence.
Access to high quality data is enabling
scientists to develop new techniques in
exploration for oil & gas and minerals.
Providing new opportunities forthe companies searching and developing
natural resources with moreexposure
to complex environments, increasing the
likelihood of cost-effective results.
VMF goes deeper into the multi-spectrum
than any other very high-resolution
commercial imaging satellite to unlock
critical information through advanced
analytic capabilities.
We call it…‘Rethinking Exploration’
RethinkingExplorationIn their exploration and development programs.
Demand for today’s challenging climate, oil and gas, mining and
exploration companies are using the latest technology and new
approaches to focus and re-energize innovative solutions remains
strong, as companies search for deeper deposits and develop
projects within more complex and challenging environments.

Benefits
DESCRIPTION
Economic Efficiencies
Reduction or exclusion of costs associated traditional
exploration methods e.g. seismic, exploratory drilling,
eliminates drilling of unnecessary wells and dry holes,
human resources and logistics diminished and time costs,
passive - no environmental or land reclamation
requirements.
2-D & 3-D Models
Reserves Analysis
Results are generated in both 2-D and 3-D formats. They can
be sliced in both horizontal and vertical cross-section blocks.
Virtual wells are drilled enabling reserves analysis and
measurement.
Time Management
VMF quickly and economically defines and evaluates areas of
ground-based exploration, significantly reducing the costs
associat- ed with verification of geophysical and geochemical
anomalies.
Health andSafety &
Logistics
Health and safety risks and logistical requirements are mitigated
due to the passive nature of VMF technology. Survey work and
analysis can also determine any accumulated environmental
damage e.g. oil spills,heavy metals etc.

ReThinking Exploration
• Satellite imagery is now a vital tool
for exploration and is typically oneof the first data typesacquired
for exploring newareas;
• Images include both visible
and non-visible bands known
as multispectral images;
• Multispectral images aresensitive to changes in soil and rock
content, making it possible to
differentiate basic rock types,
elements and compounds;
• VMF can analyse most areas including those covered by dense vegetation,
offshore and under icecaps
• VMF is a passive technology and not
harmful to the environment;
• VMF is a quick and efficient way to
gain geological results across large
areas.
VMF TechnologyVerification of Multispectral Forecast or ‘VMF’ is a new and patented
integrated remote sensing technology that uses high-resolution
multispectral satellite and aerial imagery and data to locate surface and
subsurface mineral and hydrocarbon deposits.
‘Seeing beyond the visable’ - VMF delivers near real-time insights into
mining and oil and gas companies’ assets, reserves and operations.
Background Results Focussed
• VMF analysis creates both 2-D
(surface) and 3-D(subsurface) models;
• Very high resolution raw multispectral
imagery data acquired from global
satellite systems - equals better
context, more pure spectra, higher confidence in interpretation,
analysis and decision-making;
• Analyses for specific elements
and compounds;
• Able to calculate the volume
of deposits and evaluate the
extraction effectiveness;
• 2-D generates surface impressions
defining the boundaries for more
complex 3-D subsuface modeling;
• Products include: 2-D surface, 3-D
subsurface modelling, horizontal and
vertical cross sections;
How itworks
• VMF studies the atomic composition
of the near-surface layer of the Earth to a depth of 8,000 metres;
• VMF is an integrated solution in
which spatial data is analysed and
modelled using a multi-criteria
geographic information system (“GIS”) producing very high quality
2-D and 3-D visualisation of results;
• VMF’s unique GIS performs thematic
and algorithmic analysis of the data
sets include mathematical, analytical and statistical data obtained from the
images, industry maps, geographic,
geologic and referenceinformation;
• GIS results are processed using
spectral mathematics and noise reduction algorithms and
transcribed initially into 2-D
models from which 3-D models.

Cost EffectiveAssessmentProvides new opportunities to oil & gas and mining companies
exploring, developing and expanding their natural resources
portfolio by exposure to new analysis tools that operate in complex
environments increasing the likelihood of a discovery, greater
reserves with cost-effective results.
Surface analysis assists in determining the feasibility of technologically or economically
defining and extracting extra reserves from an existing field. Simultaneously,
establishing the potential of a new discovery enhancing resource estimates, shareholder
value and project longevity.
