PRELIMINARY MODERN HISTORY• Part I: Case Studies – 50% • The Decline and Fall of the Romanovs• Genocide-The Rwandan Genocide

• Part II: Historical Investigation – 20%• The investigation is a research project on ANY

relevant personality in Modern History, of the students own choice

• Part III: Core Study: The World at the Beginning of the Twentieth Century – 30%

• Students will investigate the Preliminary core study using a source-based approach.
