Model LFL111 Thermostatic Mixing Valve is ideal for supplyingsinks, showers or lavatories with tempered water in commercial,educational and institutional environments such as schools,
restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes and public restrooms. TheLFL111 features Lead Free* construction to comply with LeadFree* installation requirements. This thermostatically modulatedmixing valve can be used anywhere preset water temperatureis required for point-of-use. Its tamper resistant cover makes itespecially useful for exposed “under-the-sink” installations.

Specifications
A Thermostatic Mixing Valve shall be installed on the hot watersupply to fixture(s) as shown on the diagram below. The valveshall be ASSE Standard 1016, 1069 or 1070 approved andcontrol the temperature of the hot water to the fixture(s). Thevalve shall have 1 ⁄ 2" (15mm) female NPT inlet and outlet con-nections. Body shall be constructed using Lead Free* brassmaterial. Thermostatic mixing valve shall comply with state
codes and standards, where applicable, requiring reduced leadcontent. The valve shall have integral mounting holes to enablethe valve to be secured to a wall or suitable enclosure. Thevalve shall include a tamper resistant thermoplastic enclosure toprotect against unauthorized adjustment of the outlet tempera-ture or removal of mounting fasteners. The valve shall be of asingle replaceable cartridge design to allow service or repair of the valve without removal of the valve from the system pipingor disassembly of internal valve components. The ThermostaticMixing Valve(s) shall be a Watts Model LFL111.

Application Note:
This LFL111 valve is not factory pre-set and can be adjusted to deliver water attemperatures exceeding 110°F (43°C). Consequently, after installing the WattsLFL111 Thermostatic Mixing Valve, the installer should always check the outletwater temperature. Further, check valves and strainers must be installed in thehot and cold water supply lines to this valve.
