INFORMAL LETTER Hey John, Did you get that email from the club? I’m really not happy about it!! After all the effort we’ve already put in they want to call the whole thing off! Unacceptable! Why don’t they put it out there on facebook or even TV? I’m sure it would work. Don’t you? See ya. Tom FORMAL LETTER Dear Sir, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction about the cancellation of the annual fundraiser dinner. First of all, numerous club members including myself have made efforts to ensure this event will be a success. For instance, a lot of preparation has already gone into the after-dinner show and, to make matters worse, we have already gathered funds from several people with many more positive responses pending and, if the event is cancelled, the club will lose a lot of credibility. I must urge you, therefore, to reconsider your premature decision and to gather more support from members. It is widely known that good ideas are frequently generated in collaborative brainstorming sessions and thus, on behalf of all dedicated members of this club, I must insist that we have an urgent meeting to discuss ways of implementing this event successfully. ALTERNATIVE PARAGRAPH: I must urge you, therefore, to reconsider your premature decision and to gather more support from members. I must insist that we have an urgent meeting to discuss ways of implementing this event successfully. One idea might be to advertise the dinner on social media platforms such as facebook, which is widely known to reach large numbers of people. I trust that you take my suggestions seriously and look forward to hearing from you promptly. Yours faithfully, Tom Grethen Hey Mike! As you will have heard Foodlovers.my is going to charge us more. If you ask me, the new increase is appalling! What was a good deal is now going to cost an arm and a leg! Why don’t they just charge more to deliver to people who live far away? It’s a bit harsh charging everyone the same amount. Foodlovers.com? Foodhaters more like! What do you reckon? All the best, Pete .. see ya. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the proposed fee that will be introduced starting next month. I am absolutely certain that this noticeable increase will not only deter new customers from using your service in future, but also will lead existing customers to cancel their subscription. If I had known there would be a fee for meal delivery I would not have become a member. I understand that costs are rising throughout the country but may I make some suggestions as to how to reduce these without imposing a new charge? It has been found that one of the best ways of cutting costs is to cut-down on the amount of packaging a company uses. This would require comparatively little effort on your part, whilst generating some much needed revenue. You might also like to consider imposing the 10% fee only on orders above a certain amount. This would seem a more moderate measure to the one suggested by your good selves. I hope at the very least that you consider my suggestions and I look forward to your prompt reply. Yours sincerely, Peter Puxon

FORMAL LETTERDear Sir,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction about the cancellation of the annual fundraiser dinner.
