What is mobility?
Mobility is a career development opportunity which can be offered to or requested by any individual. It involves a change of function and/or geographical location.
It is in ALSTOM's interest to develop its employees' skills continuously so that they can anticipate and adapt to major changes in our environment.
Finally, mobility is a reality in ALSTOM, which makes tools and resources available to encourage mobility and to give it life.

Some Basic Principles
• Mobility is open to everyone
• The employee's first steps and obtaining information are fully confidential
• Both the company's need and the individual aspirations of the employee are taken into account
• Every mobility request is examined but may not lead to mobility
• After agreement between the parties involved, transfer should take place within 3 months

• Every Sector has a Mobility managerMobility manager
• Mobility managers are linked by a network and meet regularly. Their missionmission is to facilitate mobility by transferring information and matching available positions and candidates
• In each unit, your contact is the head of Human Resources or the mobility correspondent

How Can I Become a Candidate for Mobility ?
• By applying for an available position (confidentiality is guaranteed by the mobility network)
• By making yourself known to the head of Human Resources or your mobility correspondent as a candidate for mobility
• During the annual appraisal interview (performance evaluation interview)
