for the future. Actaris invented Cyble® a proven and patented technology, used for years in

several hundreds of thousands water meters worldwide. All Actaris water meters from DN15 to

DN 500 are pre-equipped with the Cyble® target at no additional costs. All current and future

remote reading modules can be retrofitted without breaking any metrological seals.

Cyble RF 433 MHz Radio Module

Read your meter wherever it is

Cyble RF is a fully integrated volume detection and 2-way Radian-compatible radio interface

module. It requires no external wiring, eliminating a potential risk of tampering and failures.

Cyble RF is the most advanced and intelligent radio module on the market. It includes

enhanced micro-processor features like 13 monthly fixed-date readings, leakage and back flow

detection. The module has a typical battery lifetime of 15 years. It is boxed in an IP 68 casing

and allows the reading even when your meter is installed in a completely flooded pit.

RF Master Radio Interface Unit

Open for system integration

The RF Master interface unit connects any Radian-compatible RF module to any DOS-

compatible computer with RS232 communication port and 5 VDC power supply.

This allows the highest possible flexibility for the integration in an existing IT infrastructure.

Actaris is offering its customers the complete documentation and files to have a perfect

integration into their billing system.

The status of the communication between the reading terminal and the meter is directly

displayed by three LED's.

DAP 9800Real on-site hand held terminal

Hand held terminals for meter reading applications require the most rugged hardware

technology. Robustness, battery capacity and display readability are key to efficient reading in

hard environmental conditions.

Actaris is offering the DOS-based DAP 9800 because of its high performance and low

maintenance costs. It resists a 2 m drop on concrete as well being submerged under 1 m of

water for 2 hours.

For the DAP 9800 an integrated RF Master interface is available.

EasyRoute Custom-made reading software

The Actaris EasyRoute Mobile software is available for the DAP hand held teminal series as well

as for any normal DOS-based computer such as a laptop. It allows the comfortable route

based radio reading or by direct keyed reading.

The EasyRoute Host software is designed to manage the data transfer between the billing

software and the hand held terminals; it also manages the routes and comments given by the

meter reader.

EasyRoute Mobile Route software for portable computers

EasyRoute Mobile is the new easy to use route software which can be installed on any

computer with Dos OS*. Reading is performed on Radian protocol compatible radio interface

modules as well as on keyed reading.

Advanced functions increase the value of walk by reading:

The last meter reading can be automatically compared with the actual reading and if a

certain consumption deviation is exceeded an alarm is displayed to the reader. This way the

reader can immediately investigate the problem e.g. check if the meter is broken or if there

is a leakage.

The possibility to set a number of pre-defined comments to document reader feedback of

certain incidences e.g. a meter is damaged or not readable. This function supports also the

permanent monitoring and statistical evaluation of the meter park.

RFCT is the integrated software tool to set the parameters to Radian compatible

meter interface modules on site.

EasyRoute Host V 2.0 Route management Software

EasyRoute Host helps create and edit routes and meter data. It also manages the data transfer

between the billing software application and the portable computer equipped with EasyRoute

Mobile.

The installation of EasyRoute Mobile into the DAP 9800 HHT is done directly via

EasyRoute Host.

The reading data can also be exported using the common .csv data format.

EasyRoute Host is compatible* with Win 9x, 2000, NT and XP.
