1.0 OVERVIEW

ConnX is even more accessible from mobile devices such as smartphones.

With ConnX Mobile, you have access to ConnX on your smartphone and can use simple

gestures to view personal details, employee details, and company information, or

approve some of the most common workflow actions.

ConnX Mobile:

1. Is simplified and streamlined with easy access to important information and

functions in ConnX.

2. Allows users with permission to quickly and easily approve workflow actions.

ConnX Mobile does not add any new functionality to ConnX; it simply enables users to

access ConnX from a mobile device more conveniently.

NOTE

ConnX Mobile is the most efficient way to get access to

ConnX on a mobile device, specifically a smartphone.

If you are using a tablet computer, you can use ConnX

Mobile, or the desktop version of ConnX.

2.0 CONFIGURATION

Access to ConnX Mobile is only granted by the license file. Go to Admin >

ConnX/ESP Modules to see if your licence includes ConnX Mobile.

When the license permits access to ConnX Mobile, an Administrator can use the desktop

version to select the pages that are available to other users with different access levels

(e.g., Employees, Supervisors, Managers, Administrators, and HR Administrators).

To set pages as available or unavailable for users with different access levels:

1. Go to Admin > Settings > ConnX Mobile. ConnX shows the ConnX Mobile Settings

page.

2. Select the Access Level from the drop-down list to set the availability of pages for

that specific access level.

3. Select the checkboxes adjacent to the name of each page to make that page

available in ConnX Mobile. Clear the checkbox to make the page unavailable.

4. Press Update Settings.

The image on the following page shows the ConnX Mobile Settings page.

NOTE

You can only make changes to the ConnX Mobile Settings

in the desktop version of ConnX.

3.0 OPERATION

ConnX Mobile provides many of the same functions as the desktop version.

There are changes to the amount of content shown on the screen, and the layout of the

page.

The following table shows the menu and pages available in ConnX Mobile, and the

3.2 Approving Workflow Actions

The Workflow Inbox (shown below) permits users to approve or deny Workflow Actions.

ConnX Mobile is a simplified system with some design limits due to the volume of

necessary information, and the limited screen size. For example, you cannot see the

details for all Workflow Actions in ConnX Mobile.

The following list shows the Workflow Actions that you can view the details for in ConnX

Mobile.

• Approvals for Personal Details

• Approvals for Annual Leave

• Approvals for Sick Leave

• Approvals for Long Service Leave

• Approvals for RDO Leave

• Approvals for Extra Pay Leave

• Approvals for TOIL Payout Leave

• Approvals for Other Leave

NOTE

You must use the desktop version of ConnX to view the

details of any other Workflow Actions.

You can still approve or deny the workflow if necessary.
