2. App Mode

The App Mode status determines the client behavior in dialing outgoing calls.

The two “ON” options refers to two different dialing rules from the dialing configuration:

On – Automatic. Automatic call routing according to dial plan configuration and user call parameters (location, destination number, etc). The client chooses the preferred routing method automatically. Typically it uses WIFI when available, and when not it uses Call Out in the home country and Call Back when roaming out of home country.

On – International Calls. Automatic call routing of international calls only. The client chooses the preferred routing method (Call Back/Call Out) automatically.

Ask me on every call (Call by Call). Users are prompted with a choice to route each call via the PBX or directly. Users have two options: Call using Mobile iPN or Call directly using their cellular provider.

Off – Calls are never routed automatically via the PBX in Call Out or Call-back modes and are connected directly using the cellular provider network or via VoIP according to VoIP settings.

4. PBX settings and Remote Office (RO) Users can configure different PBX call control settings from the mobile device. These actions are Client-server actions and require data Sync between the client and the PBX.

Remote office Users can assign any active phone to serve as their office number and make and receive calls from it. The client allows users to enable/disable RO, choose an RO number, store favorite numbers and trigger outgoing calls. The automatic RO control features include shut down with timer and status alerts.

Status On / Off – Enables / disables the RO on the PBX side. Once the user changes the RO status and presses back, the client syncs with the PBX and sets the new status. Once the PBX is updated with the new status, the user receives a notification on the client.

RO number – Selects the current RO number from a bank of numbers stored locally in the client. Users can edit the list of favorite numbers, add from phone address book and choose between active RO numbers. Only one RO number must be selected every time RO is enabled.

RO impacts on dialing configuration – When Remote Office is set to ON and there is no WIFI connection, the client dialing behavior changes to the following way: irrespective of the App Mode settings or the user location and destination number dialed, every outgoing call (except emergency numbers) is automatically routed by the client to the PBX in Call Back mode. When RO is changed to OFF, the dialing configuration returns to the previous App Mode settings. In addition, if the user changes the dialing method manually when RO is ON (“connect by”), it will disable RO

automatically and inform the user of the change.

Do Not Disturb (DND) Enabling DND sends incoming calls to the office number voicemail. Call Forward Always (CFA) Users can configure a forwarding number. When Call Fwd Always is enabled, incoming calls to the universal number are forwarded to the configured number. Simultaneous Ring Users can add phone numbers that will ring for every incoming call to their office number. Users can pick up any of these phones to answer the incoming call.
