MOBE Review – My Online BusinessEmpire Good or Scam?February 21, 2015 by Jesse Singh — 275 Comments

Welcome to my blog and you are here because you want to find out ifMOBE (My Online Business Empire) is actually a legit business.

Well, you came to the right place because in this unbiased third partyMOBE review I am going to reveal everything to you…

Then you can make the decision to join this company or not…

Before I dig in, I want to say pay attention and read this blog post to theend because I am going to share with you a major flaw that could lead youto failure in this company.

MOBE Review – The Company

Website: https://mobe.com

MOBE used to stand for “My Online Business Empire” but the name haschanged to “My Online Business Education” December of 2014.

MOBE is the brain child of an Australian man named Matt Lloyd wholaunched this company in 2011.

Page 3: Mobe reviews

Prior to this company launch, I only found one MLM he was involved inwhich was called “LifePath” and didn’t really see anything else on him.

His goal with My Online Business Education was to help people build abusiness online without going through a ton of trial and error.

Well, that’s always a good thing right?

I haven’t heard anything negative about Matt Lloyd that is true…

There are some MOBE review blog posts out there calling this a scam, butthey call everything a scam LOL.

Alright, let’s take a look at their product line…

My Online Business Empire (MOBE) – TheProduct Line

Page 4: Mobe reviews

Like any good network marketing company or a hybrid MLM and Internetmarketing company, you need good products that actually bring value tothe market place.

This is their product’s on their website:

My Top Tier Business (MTTB) – $49

“All the products and system you need to succeed online. The internet’sonly Done For You Direct sales system that will deposit $1000, $3000 andeven $5000 checks into your bank account”.

Hmmm… Does sound a little hypy…

Page 5: Mobe reviews

Licensing Kit – $297

This is a “7 Day training course that will leave you with the expertise inlicensing other people’s products so you can make money without creatinganything yourself”

This could have just said affiliate marketing… LOL.

Inner Circle Memberships – $99-$299 per month

This is where they get their “ELITE earners” and train you.

Home Business Summit Event ($97 streaming online to $497 VIPTicket)

Apparently here you learn the truth about traffic and the missing link ofthe equation that separates the internet millionaires from the failures.

Now that you know the products in this MOBE review, let’s take a look attheir business opportunity…

MOBE – The Compensation PlanLike all MLM’s, you get paid commissions when you refer people into thebusiness which is called MLM recruiting.

This is where the majority of the money is made, but there are

Page 6: Mobe reviews

companies out there that require no recruiting, I will get into that later.

Instead of me trying to explain the compensation plan, why not let MyOnline Business Education explain it…

Note: This is a BIASED Video and it’s for educational purposesonly.

Page 7: Mobe reviews

I do NOT endorse this video!

This comp plan is pretty powerful because of the super high ticket items…

MOBE Review – is it a scam?To be honest, it’s NOT a scam…

This is perfect for people that are good marketers already, but it will bechallenging for newbies.

This is probably why 97% of the people fail in this business and this is themajor flaw I was talking about earlier.

I am glad you actually read my review all the way to this point!

There are other companies like this like Empower Network andLeverage where they show you how to build a business online…

Also recently there has been a new spin on MOBE and called Com Lifestyle, but basically is the same thing…

It’s not easy to do to be honest, it took me over a year to get it right.

There is a solution for you though.

I have been working in the background in a business opportunity where it

Page 8: Mobe reviews

shows you EXACTLY step by step on how to build a business online…

It’s so awesome that you get a ONE on ONE coach in the system to helpyou hit your personal goals…

I read your review and it seemed like you said you havetried this program for a year and said it was hard at firstbut then once you caught on you made lots of money.that seems like you have some affiliation to me. Youshow me one affiliate marketing program that works andI will prove its a scam. The scam begins when they askyou to pay an unconscionable fee for coaching ormarketing. 97 bucks gets you in and another 30 K inmarketing gets you screwed. I have a list of over 500people who all lost money and got screwed. This isdefinitely a scam.

You do not receive anything for freeand you are not taught how to use the internet to get leads to theirSales personal so you can receive Commissions. Such a TOTALWASTE OF TIME.

Accurate! I went to the workshop hoping to learn some REALinternet marketing sales strategies but dealt with an aggressive90 minute sales pitch instead. SMH

I had enough “sampling” of MOBE’s underhanded tactics. For thoseof you who got MOBE’d (robbed) we have great news. I had a roughtime getting a refund. No, it did not come from CLOWNheadquarters but rather the CC company. Here is what you do~ callyour debited bank or credit card company. Explain to them that thiswas a verbal contract to be coached through 21 steps. You thenexplain that the thieves try to extort money out of you mid-streamin order to finance a PONZI scheme. The best shot is to ask them tolook up “REVIEWS OF MOBE” on Google. My CC company actuallyapologized that I had been MOBE’d !!! One important note~ beSURE to cancel your debit/credit card so you are not MOBE’d(scammed) again. We all know how hungry these CLOWN Collegegraduates can get. You can turn around and get a new cardimmediately. Good luck to those that were MOBE’d and MOBE~KISS MY GRITS !!!

Another nail in the MOBE coffin is “Google Trends”. Seems asthough everyone is catching on to Wonder Boy’s schemes. Notwe need to put the icing on the cake and SHUT MOBE DOWN !!!

Reply

Jay Hadley saysFebruary 7, 2016 at 9:09 pm

I almost forgot an important point. The “non-disclosure” is anintimidation move dreamt up by the HEAD CLOWN~ it is NULL &VOID account they breached the contract attempting to extortyou mid-ways in the 21 steps. KISS MY GRITS MENTAL MORONS!!!!

As long as the item you send is as described, your customeris happy.

Seems nice but at the same time MOBE is getting people to FIRST buyinto the gameyou have to buy more than 1000$ just to get startedthen who knows if you can even do the job! maybe you can but its notfor everybody!!!you First need money! to make money …………..So indeed it is a scam cause there is no guarantee you will besuccessful! You first have to give your hard earned cash just to get information thatisnt all that clear so if you dont know anything about marketing dontget involvedIf you have thousands of dollars to invest into a company and KNOWmarketing this will be great for you ! otherwise you will end up loosingmoney . Know what you are getting yourself into before you BUY IN to acompany that has no value for you ONLY VALUE to them is YOURMONEY!

this sounds like multi tier marketing, getting people to do theprogram so the money they spend becomes a portion of yourincome, thus requiring a lot of recruiting. Much like Amway.

Reply

Chris B saysNovember 12, 2015 at 5:54 am

your right I have done so much research on this program and reallycant believe people are buying into this. With just a little researchfrom the FTC you will find that this company does not follow the FTCNew Business Opportunity Rule at all. Remember that the FTCrequires that a business selling a home based businessopportunities is required to provide you with a complete 1 pagedisclosure of how the business is to work and if any mention of

Page 27: Mobe reviews

money is spoken about, a seperate page with the words in boldacross the top Earnings statement is required. Also a list of 10referrals of people currently involved with the business is alsorequired. Keep in mind you dont just want to speak to people whoare going to tell you how GREAT the business is. You really want tospeak to the people who arent doing so well. Now you can find outthe truth about how and what the company is doing to help thesepeople get past their adversities. And finally time should be givenbetween the date you sign the agreement and the date you actuallypay. This will give you an opportunity to have an attorney, accountant, or business consultant go over the programs pros andcons and give you a chance to do your due diligence. This companydoesnt follow any of the FTC rules. Definite SCAM.

Based on the above, it would be perfectly legal to round up theMOBE’d nutty CLOWNS at one of their self worshipping ho-downs here in the good old USA (not never, never land that theMOBE alledged Peter Pan lives). Have a Federal marshaldelegation read them the arrest order with an FTC affidavit foran arrest. The risk here is way too big for 99.99% of people knowledgeable inbusiness and for 120% of people who knows nothing aboutbusiness. This is a Ponzi scheme inside out.I happen to be on the mailing list of a marketer pushing thisproduct.

He tells me this is a guaranteed road to success and he will evenrefund me the $47.

Then, a few weeks later, guess what, the next best thing comes up.

And so on.

Page 31: Mobe reviews

Now they seem to have resurrected M.O.B.E and he is pushing itagain forgetting that I was refunded 12 months ago.

There must be a LOT of suckers out there.

Thanks for this review. I have some online courses that are doing verywell, so often am approached by various companies (Patience.io,Skillshare, etc.) wanting me to move my courses to their platform.MOBE approached me yesterday and for whatever reason their offerconvinced me to at least add one of my courses to their platform. Butthere was nothing about this MLM feature you are describing. I guessthey are now recruiting content suppliers so that they can make moneyfrom both ends, the affiliate marketers (who are paying to sign up!?)and the course sales (which they keep a good chunk of the profit from).

Well after reading this, needless to say I am unlikely to give them mycontent. I’m not sure I can trust a company with this business model. There are so many free affiliate programs out there. There is simply noreason anyone should be paying for the “privilege” of getting topromote products for commission.

I also helps thousands of people just make an extraincome on top of their jobs to help with paying the billsetc.

And yes there is an investment.

You will get actual tools/softwares, training and livetraining to get you going.

The investment is $20 per month.

When I first started I asked my coach, whicheveryone gets, if there was going to be any more up front money that Iwas going to have to spend to make this program work. Cause if so Idid not want or couldn’t continue. Well guess what!! If I understandlesson 6 correctly, yes there is lots of money that I still have to invest tomake this work. I am feeling that this is a scam and Matt just wantscustomers and their $49 knowing that they won’t be able to continue.Yes there is a guarantee that you get your money back, but you have tofinish all 21 weeks of training then work the program as outlined. I can’tafford to work it as outlined! So I guess I have lost ANOTHER $49 onanother lie on the internet. If this isn’t correct I would truly appreciatesomeone to set me straight cause I would like to make this work!!!!Matt seemed like a real upstanding guy and seemed to me like he knewwhat he was talking about. Please respond.

To be fair, Amway and Mobe are business opportunities, it’sjust they are not newbie friendly…

Amway, you need a lot of training on self development andyou will have to learn how to talk topeople everywhere you go.

With Mobe, you have to be an internet marketing expertalready to make good money…

So what I show you is how you can leverage eBay andAmazon to make you money.

These companies are trusted and will be here for the longhaul.

Plus, it’s newbie friendly and you don’t need any marketingskills at all.

He is sharp make no mistake and he knows what sort of dropoutrate he is working with.

But somewhere along the line this thing is going to implode.

There is NO value being transferred. Just freely available bullshit. For Top Dollar mind you which you have to peddle in order torecoup your outlay.

Hi, I’m reading all of the comments because I was consideringbuying into the next levels of the MOBE sales team. I havealready paid the $49.00, then as mentioned above, by Step 6,they encourage you to join the Licensing Rights to theirprogram. Well I did. That cost $2,497.00. They want you tocomplete the 21 Steps, but now most of the steps between 7 &13 are trying to convince us to purchase the Titanium andPlatinum positions in order to make larger commissions. sounds very good, but few people who are working a seasonaljob, like myself, don’t have the money to upgrade. I think thecost is somewhere around $26,000.00. Sure, you get bigcommissions if your clients purchase the Titanium & Platinumproducts, around $9,000.00 all together. Sounds good, but it’s a

Page 53: Mobe reviews

lot of upfront money. That’s so hard for most people. Anyhow, after reading all of the comments, I’m going to be very carefuland reconsider the upgrade even if they put me on a paymentplan. Thank you for all the comments, it’s very helpful!

Hello Pam And Anyone else paying attention,

Page 54: Mobe reviews

I Started Mobe/Mttb 4 days ago. Was intrigued by the videos andhow sincere Matt seemed to be in them. Well, I paid the $49enrollment fee…I ran through the first 6 courses with the hopes of making lots ofmoney, the coach was extremely helpful, and then it happened… Atthe end of my 6th lesson I reach out to my coach, like every timeyou finish a lesson, and there it was, the upsale! I was told in orderto continue I needed to purchase the licensing program for $2,497…and that it would be pointless to continue the training due to thefact that all other training videos were in place to set me up to sellM.O.B.E. products!! I then got curious, I basically paid $49 dollarsfor 6 course videos which were somewhat enlightening, but notworth the money I paid… But that’s not all…. they have even moreprograms to “further” your/Matt Lloyd’s business… Hence thePlatinium, Titanium, and Diamond Packages! which in order tosucceed even more you must purchase! Then you have ALL theother things they upsell to you so that you can succeed! SoDescriptively, as they tell you you are an affiliate/partner in thecompany you are really only a sale that is being sold by the guythat was sold” and still being sold” before you!!!

I want to tell you that MOBE is a rip off. When they raised their price toget their upper level programs, my coach Tiji Thomas, told me to get onboard for $24,000 (about) and so I told him I didn’t have enough cash.He said get what you can and get the rest in 2 weeks. So I gave mycredit card for $6500, and put 5000. on my debt/credit card and toldhim I’d have to sell some stock to get the rest. They grabbed off my credit card, but some reason they couldn’t get the money frommy debt card. So the deal fell through. Now I am out 6500. and can’tget my money back on that. So you tell me they are not a rip off? they were an honest company, why wouldn’t I have my refund?

Spent $49 and it wasquickly apparent to me that I would have to spend more after talkingwith my coach. He said, “Well, you have to spend money to makemoney.” I have tried so many things over the last 15 years and theyhave all had a small sign up fee, but once you get inside they hit youup for a lot more money for the program to work. Of course I usuallydrop out because I can’t afford to spend more. I just would like to getout of debt and not have to run myself ragged working two jobs.

So much of your time andenergy will go in to MOBE resulting in heartache, stress, depression andfailure. The only way you can be successful is to be a guru or for anewbie… you will need a professional and successful marketer whomakes 7 or 6 figures online who will show and teach you EXACTLY whatto do and how to do it. MOBE is very expensive high yielding high ticketitem.

And I love the at home videos where they claim theyhave made all this moneu but the background looks like a cheapapartment. If you make that kind of money you would have a betterdecorator. Hey Cheryl,

You can work on it as little as 30-45 minutes a day. if you havemore time on the weekend, do more then.

The faster you learn the system and get good at it, the faster youwill make money.

I have people that started part-time and now quit their jobs and

doing this full time.

But they were in it for the long haul and were serious.

This is DEFINITELY a CON!! A SCAM!! Or whatever you name it!

Page 110: Mobe reviews

Promise you everything before you signed up, but deliver nothing andeven challenge you when you complain that their coach isn’t supportingyou!

Max Aria, the supposed coach, was the one who suppose to guide mebut he never entertained me anymore after the payment of $1,997 wasmade. I wasn’t able to kick start properly as I had doubts in thisbusiness and needed his guidance.

Many weeks gone and I complained to their centre, but I was being toldthat Max will contact me but he never replied me in Skype anymore formonths.

Asked MOBE to refund me but they claimed that I had signed anagreement with them, stating that I have to continuously spend moneyin Facebook, Solo ads and etc for 12 months for a certain amount andwhen I had no single sales, then only will they refund me. WTF!!!

How much am I going to lose if I follow the instruction? And what if theythemselves sign up to my minimum sales? They are the one who wineverything and the users are the one who lose everything!

This is definitely a SCAM!

I wanted to be a part of something that is newbie friendly.

I wanted to be a part of something that didn’t require recruitment.

I wanted to be a part of something where I am not the only onemaking the money.

MOBE might seem legit to most people….I was sucked in as well, withabout $2,500 lost in the venture. They do not have a real product tosell, but you buy the rights to sell the same rights to other victims. Thefew products that I have access to, are basically useless, and nothingmore than an advertisement for you to buy the high end “products”which again are just the rights to sell the same rights. It is a failed, dead end business system, and yes, a lot of people aremaking money on it, but so many more HAVE to lose in order to providethe cash to pay the earners. If you are sharp, and have a lot of cash topurchase and then advertise, work hard, and maybe then at least youwill be one of the minority that actually walk away with your money inthe end. Just glad I never got any more caught up in the hype to throwanother $30,000 at it.Thanks for letting me vent!

I’m not understanding a few things here. Just started seriously lookinginto this MOBE thing. Heard of it in the past and want to start a newbusiness so decided to give it a look. It’s being called a scam on hereand other blogs so are they taking your money without giving yousomething in return? That would sound illegal. But I remember hearingof this company several years ago so how can they still be in businessand taking peoples money if they don’t deliver a product, training etc?

And I’m not sure if it was this page or not but several people havemade comments either that this program won’t ‘guarantee’ yoursuccess or that this business required money to join. What business canyou start that guarantees anyone success or doesn’t cost money tostart? That’s business 101… nothing is guaranteed and it usually is asignificant invest to get started and find customers.

I guess I’m just not understanding all of the scam comments.

My 2 cents…will update as I dig into MOBE.

My letter to Mobe:

Following a string of misleading information, misrepresentation andwhat I later determined to be outright lies, I was deceived into believingthat MOBE offered products and services and programs that wouldallow me to earn considerable income.

I initially attended a seminar in March 2016 in Toronto, Canada, delivered by Raymond Aaron. While initially intrigued, I was persuadedthat I had to “invest” more money in a licensing program in order tocontinue my “training”. I was convinced to pay an additional $2,497USD.On May 10, 2016, I was asked to “assist” at a life event in Toronto andthere duped into upgrading to “Titanium” to be fully positioned to earnmoney and to have access to a coach in order to be successful. I paid afurther $13,717.55 at the seminar to upgrade and continued to followMOBE’s direction to buy more software as well as online traffic.Soon thereafter, my “coach” told him me that I had to spend a further$5,000 to buy more traffic to get stats to analyse my business. Yourrepresentatives took advantage of a trusting but unsophisticatedindividual as to lure me into believing this was something more than ascam or perhaps Ponzi scheme. After spending more than $18,000, Irealized that MOBE offers no product of any real value, and that I wasbeing groomed to re sell the same scam to other victims.

If they were actually did provide a ton of value, then great.

He has notanswered his phone or returned any of my calls. I click on stepone and it states that I can not continue unless I speak to mycoach!I am a newbie with Mobe, and at least their coaches can bereached at any time. I wanted to see if this was going to be a

I manged to get the program for free from Paul Lynch. I paid the $49

Page 155: Mobe reviews

and he refunded my money. I am now at stage 6 and the alarm bellsare starting to ring. I knew there was a sting coming and sure enough –there it is!

That’s the reason I am now looking at the reviews. I am a web designerand I also do local SEO so I am not a compete novice. I was advised bya marketing consultant to steer clear of this type of course and tocreate my own product if I want an internet marketing business. decided to go through the steps just to see if I could pick up any tipsand learn something I didn’t know.

I do want to make money online with internet marketing but there areso many scammers out there taking money from desperate people whocan’t afford to lose it and I will never be one of them.

I went yesterday to the first of the 3day “seminar” it’s not for me. Therewere people there tat have viable products to sell online in their ownbusinesses but the guy David was steering them to selling moveproducts. $2500.00 for the licensing program. Then it’s another

Page 156: Mobe reviews

$2500.00 to join the lowest bronze mastermind program,$6000.00 forthe platinum and $10,000 for the Diamond. And it’s $300 for the 21steps. They aren’t out for you to build your own business. They Wangyou to sell their “products ” to give you information on how to get otherpeople to sell their products. It’s not for me. I’m not going back. I’ll justkeep making my jewelry and clips. If I’m not a millionaire it’s ok. Whyshould I make the rich even richer by selling so.etching that’s justrepackaged under a different name just selling the same thing.
