now for Medicines Management 2011, the 37th SHPANational Conference, 10–13 November 2011, in Hobart.

The industry exhibition is an exciting and informative component of SHPA conferences and delegates always look forward to meetingwith industry for up to date information on products and services.

MM2010 was a huge success with well over 1000 delegates, 45 companies exhibiting and supporting plenaries, concurrent andpre conference sessions.

SHPA are experiencing very significant growth in our membershipwith currently over 2800 members. This combined with thechallenging and inspiring program developed by the ScientificCommittee promises 2011 will be another successful continuingprofessional development event.

The enclosed sponsorship prospectus offers a variety of packagesand is designed to provide numerous opportunities for participatingcompany’s brand exposure before and during the conference. Inaddition to the packages, I welcome the chance to discuss developing a sponsorship package individually tailoredto meet your specific company requirements.

To ensure sponsors have numerous opportunities to interact withdelegates the Welcome Reception, tea breaks, lunches and posterviewing will be held in the exhibition hall.

In 2008 we made the decision to no longer have conferencesatchels and although we still believe this is the best approach, to meet the needs of the delegates carrying around what hasbecome a substantial handbook we are offering the opportunityfor a company to provide simple calico bags that will be handedto the delegates with the conference handbook at registration. No items will be inserted into these bags.

The Journal of Pharmacy Practice and Research, the premierpharmacy publication in Australia has been the official journal of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia since 1966.

The Journal aims to assist in the development of innovativepharmacy practice and research and to provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas for pharmacists andtechnicians from all practice settings. The current circulation is approximately 2500.

The Journal continues its high standards as a peer-reviewedjournal reaching members of SHPA, Australian pharmacy schools,kindred pharmacy organisations in Australia and overseas and a number of institutional and individual subscribers.

In 2011 the Journal will be published in March, June, Septemberand December. In recognition of the support we receive from ourconference sponsors, all sponsors of Medicines Management2011, are offered a 20% discount on the 2011 advertising rates.

Terms and ConditionsThe Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia will hereafter be referred to as ‘the Organisers’.

> Sponsorship packages will be allocated in order of receipt of booking forms.

> The Organisers accept no liability for damage to exhibits byloss, damage, theft, fire, water, storms, strikes riots or anycause whatsoever. Sponsors are advised to insure againstsuch liability.

> The Organisers reserve the right to change the venue andduration if circumstances demand at their discretion. Thesponsor will indemnify the Organisers in respect of any claimsand demands in respect thereof. The sponsor must take outadequate insurance in respect of all claims.

> The Organisers reserve the right to alter the Exhibitionfloorplan.

> Exhibits must not be removed and displays must not bedismantled either partly or in total before CLOSING TIME on thelast day of the exhibition. All exhibits and display material mustbe removed by the time indicated in the sponsors manual.

> Sponsors may only conduct competitions or offer prizes withthe permission of the organisers.

> The Sponsor undertakes that they will not hold any events,educationals or social functions at the same time as officialConference Program sessions or social functions.

> Sponsorship deposits are non-refundable. For cancellation of sponsorship at least 2 months prior to the commencementof the exhibition, full payments will be refundable if theOrganisers are able to re sell the package.

> For cancellations less than 2 months prior to thecommencement of the exhibition,all payments arenon-refundable.
