So how do you correctly approach family and friends?
First, understand the concept of target marketing so you can become a professional marketer that earns the trust and respect of your loved ones. Your target market for network marketing are people who are actively shopping for a network marketing business, preferably searching for your network marketing business by name. Aim your marketing towards getting in front of those people . The best people to get in front of are people searching for your business by name. So, for example, if the name of your company is Widget X, the best people to market to are people who are already searching online on google for keywords like, “Widget X review”, “Widget X scam”, “Widget X business review”. The next best group would be people who are interested in starting a home based business. These are people who are interested in a starting a business from home but who are not yet familiar with network marketing or haven’t decided yet that they want to get involved with network marketing. The next best group of people to approach are who are interested in starting a business. They have not yet decided to start a business from home.
And, the next best group are people who need and want to be in control of their own income and of their own time. The next ring are people who have a problem that led them to wanting and desiring financial control and time freedom. You want to market to people according to where they are at in your target market. Tailor your approach and marketing to those people based on where they are in your target market. The problem most people have with approaching their family and friends is that they hear their family and friends complain about wanting to make more money or not having enough time to spend with their kids and network marketers immediately try to present their business to these people without moving these people through the middle circles. This leads to the appearance of looking “pushy” and losing the respect of family and friends. To properly use your family and friends list, you want to use your list as a memory jogger to figure out what group the people on your list fall into. If no one on your family and friends list fit into the groups mentioned above in this article, then go to that person for a referral. Do NOT present your business opportunity to that person. Internet Network Marketing Step 1: Create Traffic In order to create traffic and get visitors to your lead capture page website so they can become leads, you need to focus on marketing your business daily. There are two types of network marketing strategies: paid marketing strategies and free marketing strategies. Here are some examples of free marketing strategies: video marketing, blogging, article marketing, facebook marketing, twitter, linkedin, and forum marketing. Some examples of paid marketing strategies are: facebook payperclick, google pay per click, bing pay per click, youtube promoted videos, solo ads, banner ads, direct mail/postcard marketing, and voice broadcasting. Ideally, to get quicker results, choose 1 paid strategy and 1 free strategy. Once you master those 2 strategies, then add additional marketing strategies to the mix to diversify your lead flow. Internet Network Marketing Step 2: Capture Leads Your goal in your marketing is to direct people to a lead capture page, like this one: http://www.recruitrepsonline.com The key to getting leads to optin to your lead capture page website by giving you their name and email address is to make sure that you implement the principle of congruency in your internet network marketing. What is that? Congruency means matching the words and language in your marketing’s calltoaction to the wording on your lead capture page.
For example, if the headline on your lead capture page says “Free network marketing training reveals how to get 10 leads a day using article marketing”, you want the final paragraph in your blog post or article or the headline in your ad to mention the words in your lead capture page headline. So for the lead capture page used in that example, in a video, for example, I would say “to learn how to get 10 leads a day using article marketing, go to www.yourleadcapturepagewebsitehere.com.” It’s as easy as that. Why does this work? If your call to action in your marketing gets someone to “click” and go to your lead capture page, that wording in your call to action was effective, right? It got your visitor to take action and it will get your visitor to take action again. Rinse and repeat that same language. Make sure that language is on your lead capture page so your visitor knows they landing on the right page.
Internet Network Marketing Step 3: Convert Sales Once you get a lead and have people on your email list, you want to build a relationship with that lead so they will convert into a sale. A great strategy is to send a facebook friend request to your leads by looking up the email address you have on file for them inside of facebook. If you can’t find their facebook profile by the email address you have for them, you can send an email asking them to “friend” you. Once you build relationships with your leads on multiple platforms like facebook and youtube and get that “know, like, and trust” factor with them, then you will start seeing more conversions and more sales.

Let’s me address these lead blocking culprits head on! 1) Lack of Consistency
Most marketers only market when they feel like it.
They may do a video one day and then another video 1 week later. Lack of consistency can hurt your results and stop you from getting a steady daily flow of leads, especially with free marketing strategies like: video marketing, blogging, article marketing, etc. Why? With content marketing strategies like video marketing, blogging, and article marketing, it can take time to build up content and to start generating a steady flow of leads. So, the more consistent you are with putting out great content every single day, the more seeds you are putting out there that will start to bloom. Consistency is key! So if you have been suffering from the disease of trickilitis in your business (you know only getting a trickle of leads every so often), then here’s the first part of your prescription to get cured: pick 2 main marketing strategies and do them consistently every day for 90 days. So if you choose video marketing and blogging, do 1 video and 1 blog post every single day for 90 days. No excuses! This will help you turn a trickle of leads into a flow. Now, let’s tackle the second biggest culprit that is robbing so many internet network marketers of leads!
2) Lack of Congruency
Congruency…huh??!! The next thing you want to do is be congruent in your marketing. What does this mean? At the end of your marketing (your blog posts, your videos, or your articles), always give a call to action. In the call to action, drive people to your lead capture page website where visitors will be asked to give you their email address in exchange for some information that you are providing them. The key to generating leads is congruency. What is congruency? Congruency is when the same words you use in your call to action matches the words your visitors will see on the website you are pointing them too. Here’s how to do it! If you want to point people to a lead capture page where they opt in to get more information about your company, then you want to take the wording from that page and use it in your call to action. Imagine my lead capture page said: Discover How Former Attorney Makes $100/day from home and never has to report to a boss ever again. Then in my video or blog post’s call to action, I want to say something congruent like: to discover how I make $100/day from home and never have to report to a boss ever again, go to: www.leaveyourjob.com. Get it? But, why does congruency work? Congruency builds trust. When people see that what you promised them is actually on the website you pointed them to, they know they have landed in the right place. Congruency also leads to repeated action. This is important to you as a marketer. Just think about it, if that same wording in your call to action got them to take action and go to your website, that same wording on the website will get them to take action to opt in. Congruency is a fundamental concept missing in most internet network marketing training. Its just not being taught. Step 1: Use Congruent Marketing to Turn More Visitors Into Leads At the end of all pieces of content you create online to market your network marketing business, you want to give a call to action. The key to getting more website visitors to become leads is to use a congruent, compelling call to action. What is that?
At the end of your content (blog post, video, article, facebook status update, tweet, etc), give a call to action that uses the same wording the person will see when they go to the website that you are directing them to in your call to action. For example, if your lead capture page has the headline: “Discover the business that allowed this stay at home mom to be able to stay at home with her kids while earning more than she did on her corporate job”, then you want your call to action to include some of these same words. Why? You want the visitors to your lead capture page to know that they are in the right place. That what you promised they would get by going to your website, is actually there on the website. This builds trust and helps you to increase the number of leads you will get from your lead capture page. The first thing I did was invest in my marketing education to learn ALL of the different ways I could use to market my business. Invest in marketing training so you can educate yourself about all of the different marketing strategies available to you. There are a huge buffet of options to choose from: Free strategies (video marketing, article marketing, blogging, social media) and Paid strategies (solo ads, banner ads, pay per click, magazine ads, post card marketing, etc). 2) Step 2: Focus
Pick only 12 marketing strategies to focus on for the next 90 days. Only 12 strategies! Master these strategies so you can get results quickly. One of the biggest mistakes network marketers make is splitting their focus and energy by trying to do too many marketing strategies at once. They get nowhere fast and spin their wheels. Focus on 12 marketing strategies and only watch training that pertains to those marketing strategies. Once you choose and focus on your 12 marketing strategies you will be able to avoid information overload and overwhelm, the 2 biggest enemies that rob network marketers of their success. How to Use Video Marketing to Get Same Day Signups from Your Online Leads
Video marketing is a wonderful marketing strategy to use and implement in your business especially if you are working your business parttime. Why? Video allows you to leverage your efforts by doing a video once and putting it up online where it can work for you 24/7 while you are working your fulltime and parttime job. Have you been trying to use the internet to grow your network marketing business? Does it feel like you are working hard and getting nowhere? So how was I able to get these same day signups? Using video marketing Here are two tips for using videos to get more leads and recruit more reps. Video Marketing Tip #1: Get Traffic
Everything with video marketing begins with traffic. What does it mean to get traffic? Getting eyeballs or people to see your video. If no one watches your video, then you won’t get leads or signups. So the first thing you want to do is concentrate on getting traffic. Here’s the training I plugged into to learn how to generate leads and sponsor people all online: http://recruitrepsonline.com My two biggest tips for getting traffic quickly is to use forums to syndicate your videos and to master seo or search engine optimization. Forums are a powerful way of getting traffic to your videos because tons of people hang out on forums. The key with using forums is to find the forums that your target market hang out on and get your video on those forum sites. The second powerful way to get traffic to your videos is to use SEO or search engine optimization. You want to use free tools like google keyword tool to find out what keywords your target market is using to search for your specific company online on google and on youtube. Once you discover those keywords, you pick one keyword to target for each of your videos. Use your target keyword in the title, description, and tags of your videos. This is just a few of the things I do in my 19 step video marketing checklist that I give everyone for free when they partner with me to get coaching to grow their network marketing business online. This is the internet network marketing secret sauce. This is how you convert video viewers into signups on the spot. Video views and leads are great, but we want to be able to convert the leads we get, right? How do you get in front of people who will immediately realize that they need to work with you? Well, you need to focus on increasing your personal value and demonstrating your personal value in your videos. So you may be asking, what is value? Your value comes from your knowledge, skills, and results. So how do you increase your personal value? Increase your knowledge about marketing and about this industry by financially investing in the same marketing training I invested in to get the results you see in the video. One of the biggest mistakes people make with video marketing is uploading a video and doing nothing else. Whenever you upload a new video online, you want to make sure that Google knows that it is exists. Imagine that your new piece of content is an island in the middle of the ocean that no one knows about. You want to be able to shoot a red flare in the air so the “Google helicopters” will know that there is life over there on your island and so they can take notice of it. This will help your videos get ranked much more quickly online and help you to get more traffic quickly. So how do you do this?
You use a process called pinging. Pinging alerts Google that a new piece of content exists and lets the Google robots know that it exists. How do you ping your new video? Use these 2 sites: Pingfarm.com and Pingler.com On pingfarm.com, you want to ping the long form url to your new youtube video and you want to ping the RSS feed to your youtube channel. The long form url of your youtube video will look like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VYHO8dxuho A short form youtube url looks like this: http://youtu.be/_VYHO8dxuho DO NOT PING THE SHORT URL. ONLY PING THE LONG URL. Also, ping the RSS feed to your youtube channel. Here is the RSS feed url you want to use, insert your youtube channel name where it says “channel name”: http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/channelname/uploads On pingfarm.com, you also want to include the keyword phrase that you want your video to rank for. The final tip to using pingfarm.com is to make sure you check these 2 boxes in the “Services to Ping” section: PostRank and Superfeedr. I join as many Facebook groups that I can related to my target market and I post a link to my youtube video or blog post with my youtube video embedded in it, in those groups. You want to do the same thing. I also share my video on Twitter, Pinterest, and popular forum sites. You want to do the same thing.
