Notice to Facility Director

Please Read:

It is important that Fingersafe® be properly installed for the intended safety they provide and to guarantee our 2 year warranty. When you inspect your installed Fingersafe®, the MKIA accordion piece should lay flat against the door frame when the door is shut. When the door is open you should observe that the Fingersafe® is snapped in tightly. Three screws should be visible on each side securing the accordion inside of the fixing strip. Your door should open 180° without impeding the operation of the door. If you or the installer have questions at this stage, please call.

Remember, the MK1A accordion can be unsnapped by pushing the Fingersafe® away from the fixing strip at one of the corners on either the door or frame side. When you wish to reinstall, insert the frame side first.

We suggest that you keep this notice or on file for easy reference.

For cleaning, Fingersafe® can be wiped down with any household cleaner or bleaching solution.
