Also,anewdouble-junctionelectrodehasbeendevelopedforthepHix® Compactwithlowerimpedance,increasedelectrolytevolume,increasedjunctionareaandlongerlifetimethantraditionalpHelectrodes.Thenewelectrodescanbeusedsuccessfullyinwastewater,potablewaterandwaterwithlowconductivity.Note:1yearwarrantyexceptelectrodes,whicharea90daysshelfplus6months.warranty..

Buffer adjustment
Buffer adjustment using ‘Tip and Dip’ calibration:
Bufferadjustmentisactivatedbyeitherturningthetransmitter180°orbyturningtheswitchring.
BufferadjustmentcanalsobeactivatedfromaPLCorthroughHART(R)commandsviathe4-20mAchannel.
Buffer adjusment using switch ring:
1: Rinse the electrode. 2: The switch ring is set to the pH value of the buffer (4, 7, or 10).
3: Zero and span is set auto-matically when immersed into the buffer solution.
4: pHix® Compact can be put into service.
1: Rinse the electrode. 2: pHix® Compact is turned upside down. (Tip.)
