DEPARTMENT GOAL NO. 1:
All Missouri students will graduate college and career ready.
SUMMARY:
Pathways to Prosperity Missouri is focused on rigorous classroom instruction made relevant by a close
connection between schools, communities, and business and industry partners. Its purpose is to provide
students and families with experiences and information so that they can plan appropriate programs of
study through high school. This preparation is intended to ensure that students understand and take
advantage of the opportunities available to them beyond high school.
The presentation is an update on recent Pathways work and expansion into all three regions: St. Louis,
Mid-Missouri, and Kansas City.
PRESENTER(S): Sharon Helwig, Assistant Commissioner, Kristie Davis, Director of Pathways to
Prosperity Missouri, Gail Stewart, Site Director of Pathways to Prosperity (St. Louis), and Bragg
Stanley, Site Director of Pathways to Prosperity (Mid-Missouri), Office of College and Career
Readiness, will participate in the presentation and discussion of this item.
