PREFACE
A list of approved career education programs for secondary programs is no longer provided in this directory. An official list of secondary programs can be viewed by accessing the Department’s website at http://dese.mo.gov/college-career-readiness/career-education. This link will connect to a public list of all secondary programs in Missouri by school district name and county-district code. The Classification of Instruction Programs (CIP) codes are designed to provide an all-inclusive list of secondary, adult and postsecondary programs offered in Missouri. The “Area Career Centers” section of this directory is designed to provide a source of information regarding adult career education programs available in area career centers that are approved for Federal Student Aid. The Long-Term (500+ hour) Adult Programs section is designed to list the approved adult programs offered in the state. These programs are required to follow-up graduates on screen 29. The “Community Colleges offering secondary programs” section is designed to list the community colleges that also offer secondary programs. Federal student aid is only available for postsecondary students enrolled in the community college programs. For corrections or modifications to this document please contact Michael Griggs, Supervisor of Career Education Data, at (573) 751-526-4581 or email at [email protected].
