Last week the Hummels and the Smiths attended the annual picnic of the Champaign Exchange Club. important rare books/manuscripts that have been physically in the Arctic and now are in the U of I RBML. His 5th item, the first edition of a Greenland newspaper still published today, in the Greenlandic language, is shown below. Greenlandic is an Eskimo–Aleut language spoken by about 56,000 Greenlandic Inuit in Greenland. It is closely related to the Inuit languages in Canada such as Inuktitut.
