Program: The Madrigals!

We were so happy to have the Madrigal singers from the Woodland Park High School sing for us! Their conduc-tor, Connie Campbell said the group was bigger this year which allows them to do pieces that they may not have been able to do otherwise. She said the group as a whole is amazing with the number of activities and sports they are all involved in, as well as being scholars with off the charts GPAs! Kiwanis has had the Madrigal singers come to our meet-ing every year, for what seems like forever! Many of our members had children who were in the Madrigals, and one of our members, was it it—Jill Becker McCracken, AND one of our members started it—Morton Dickson.

Welcome to new member Diana Henris!

Lovely surprise this morning! The Pikes Peak Regional Hospital represented by Dr. Rick Malyzcek and Eric Riggle donated $2000 to our scholarship fund! Wow! Here, Cheryl Steen, head of the Scholarship committee, accepts the check! Again, our community SHINES! Thank you PPRH!

Kathy Bergin honored! Kathy Bergin was honored by the K-Kids at Gateway for her 10 long years of dedicated service to this group. Looks like they had a lot of fun, sending Kathy off!
