Leila Aigbedion who is of Nigeria/Liberian descent, is a model, presenter, catwalk coach, dancer, miss election winner, and also a psychiatric nurse. Leila is the official pageant coordinator of the miss Africa Netherlands beauty pageant competition. One of her missions is to fight for black women in the Netherlands, because they are beautiful.

What we do

OUR MISSION OUR OBJECTIVES OUR COMMUNITYMiss Africa Netherlands aims to provide a platform for young Africans to achieve personal growth and devel-opment, take pride in their heritage, discover their inner beauty while pursuing a life-long educational career and laying a strong foundation as leaders of tomorrow.

Our objectives are to empower the girl child, and increase access to education and healthcare. We also aim to advocate for women and children’s rights, encourage women’s initiatives in the Netherlands as well as Africa: Miss Africa Netherlands celebrates strong and commit-ted women with a purpose.

Miss Africa Netherlands was founded with the aim to de-velop and enhance the whole African mind, body, and spirit as well as to project a positive image and advocate for the needy within the community and abroad.

Adama JobeThe Miss Africa Netherlands pageant offered me a platf orm to not only represent my beautiful country, but Africa as a whole. My incredible journey included building my self-confidence, meeting the most amazing ladies, growth as well as empowerment.

Growing up, I always dreamt of having an organisation for Women and Children. Fortu- nately, I was able to make that dream a reality right after I won the Miss Africa Netherlands crown. Today the Adama Jobe Foundation for Women and Children is up and running in the Gambia.


The Miss Africa Netherlands pageant offered me a platform to not only represent my beautiful country, but Africa as a whole.

Grace LindiweI want to inspire everyone from any background. Anything is possible, as long as you have a clear vision of what you want. I grew up in a very small town in South Africa, where young girls and boys were not encouraged to dream and to have hope. Luckily for me, my parents always thought I was destined for more. But it seems like nobody is aware about these problems. Congo is a country with a rich culture and our music is beautiful. Thanks to my education I am learning so much about myself and society. I found out that for years I believed in the European beauty standards which made me call myself ugly as a teen. As a big sister of my 11 year old sister, I want to shield her from this way of thinking. Not only her, but all the girls out there. We are beautiful with our own features that our ancestors gave us. This is a very important message that I, as a Queen, will always spread through talking on media and social media.

Chris Veltkamp has been elected Mister Interna-tional Netherlands. He will also represent the Netherlands during the Mister International in Asia.

Gimenez is a make-up artist and also the owner of glamourmakeup.nl, offering the best make-up services and courses in The Netherlands.

Sentini gave our finalists a workshop on how to create your own platform and is known for giving inspiring speeches and creating network events.
