This year the theme will be IT Diversity and Involve-ment which will bring a wide array of professionals from all dynamics of IT industry as well as various companies and organizations representing different career paths that are available to students.

We also would like to thank all industry professionals, student groups, volunteers, sponsors who have supported this event. And a special thank you to the attendees who have made the 7th Annual MISA Mixer a success.

The Management Information Systems Association (MISA) is a student organization that belongs to the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia. Management Information System (MIS) is a hot topic that allows companies to blend the knowledge of people skills, information technology and strategy to make better and efficient decisions.

Students at SFU learn how to manage unique projects and analyze business processes that are relevant in a real life work atmosphere. MISA’s goal is to be the leader in devel-oping and connecting quality SFU students who are inter-ested in MIS with MIS industry professionals. To accomplish MISA’s goal, we facilitate events and workshops that create awareness of the MIS industry, develop skills related to MIS and introduce IT professionals familiar with MIS to inter-ested students.
