MINUTES OF THE FIFTEENTH EMPANELMENT

AND DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 05.02.2018

In continuation of Fourteenth Empanelment and Disciplinary Committee

meeting held on 19.12.2017, the Fifteenth EDC meeting was held on 05.02.2018

of TNHSP under the Chairmanship of Project Director, Ms.P.Umamaheswari, I.A.S.

The following members participated in the meeting:

Thiru.Bharat Bhushan Dash, General Manager, UIIC.

Dr.T.S.Selvavinayagam, Additional Director, TNHSP.

The instructions given in the relevant G.O.s and the points discussed in the

previous EDC meetings were followed.

The hospitals are now selected / graded based on the documents uploaded

and updated by them online. The score sheet of the hospitals will be uploaded in

the website for transparency in an un-editable form.

The list of Government hospitals to be empanelled are enclosed in Annexure

(A). The list of Private hospitals to be empanelled are enclosed in Annexure

(B).The list of Private Diagnostic Centres to be empanelled are enclosed in

Annexure (C). The List of Differently abled welfare offices to be empanelled are

enclosed in Annexure (D). The List of Early Intervention centers for Hearing Aid to

be empanelled are enclosed in Annexure (E). The List of Early Intervention centers

for Autism to be empanelled are enclosed in Annexure (E).

Based on the documents submitted/inspection report hospitals who meet the

criteria of the scheme empanelment have been selected. The hospitals empanelled

should get entry level NABH/ NQAS (GOI standards for Government hospitals)

accreditation within twelve months. Otherwise they may not be able to continue in

the scheme beyond that period. UIIC to communicate this to all the hospitals.

UIIC / TPA’s are instructed to empanel the above list of hospitals, upload the

packages, to appoint LO’s and give training, create DMO, LO’s login ID to access

the scheme portal, supply of IEC material and other related activities. It is

requested to sign the Memorandum of Understanding with the hospitals with

within ten days and submit a copy to TNHSP.

There are totally 47 hospitals which was debarred from scheme because of

Low performance on 2.11.17 and it is ratified in this EDC. The list is enclosed

(Annexure -G).Further out of the 47 hospitals, ten hospitals was re-empanelled on

30.1.18 based on the request from the hospitals. The list is enclosed(Annexure -H)

and it is ratified in this EDC.
