The unit was given mega project status in 2006 on the basis of proposedinvestment of 1115 Crore. Due to the delay in obtaining land, investor isunable to implement the project within stipulated time frame. Hence askingfor extension up to December 2017 with changed investment amount to520 Crore. Investor has already invested 195 Cr and will invest theremaining amount of 325 Cr by December 2017.07.10.2016 - Investor Update: The company is differing the plan of Megaproject and is going to submit at written application to the PSI and a copyto MAITRI.17-10-2016- Department Update: Investor has raised some quires toindustries dept. vide letter dated 10.10.2016. The quires are stated are,due to some uncertainties such as the aspects in regards to the “1. Roadconnectivity to Dherand Jetty & Terminal, 2. Kasturirangan committee onland use around their project site, 3. Incentives from GoM post GST and 4.Minimum criteria required for qualifying the incentives” the investor hasdeferred the implementation of mega project status for his unit. GOM had identified IT as a key industry and had granted exemption to ITIndustry from any type of Environment Regulations. The map has been prepareddemarcating the boundaries ofeco sensitive zone for maldhokbird sanctuary. DCF, Solapur tocall a meeting between MLA andMP for their inputs in the case.Hence the case to be put on holdtill the file reaches forestdepartment, Mantralaya.
