1. Call to Order: Bob Yochum, 2007 MACA President, called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. Members were welcomed and introductions were made. 2. Approval of Minutes: Oldre made a motion to adopt the minutes of the October meeting. The motion was seconded by McKnight and unanimously approved. 3. Treasurer’s Report: Molly O’Rourke, MACA Treasurer, distributed the treasurer’s report. A motion to adopt the report was made by A. Peterson, Seconded by M. Ruppert and unanimously approved. 4. Joe Reis Award: The 2007 recipient was David Twa of Ramsey County. The Chairs of each county David has served were present to speak on his behalf. 5. AMC MOU: M. O’Rourke made a motion to accept the AMC MOU for 2008. The motion was seconded by J. Paul and unanimously approved.. 6. Introduction of Incoming President: Dave McKnight was introduced as incoming MACA president. His priorities for 2008 are 1) county handbook, 2) professional development improvements and 3) establish a formal new member welcome program to include new member visits, organization overview etc. 7. 2008 Committees: D. Unmacht made a motion to approve the 2008 committee membership list, motion was seconded by J. Fransen and unanimously approved. 8. Adjourn: K. Oldre made a motion to adjourn.
