  • Promotion Design Project ROOM TO READ promotion designA project which encourages for people to have intersts in ROOM TO READ (an organisation of founding educational facilities in developing contries) and introduces this organisation to public. There are 3 themes - room to read, room to grow, room to dream in this video clip. This project is mixed with hand and digital works.

  • The style of the poster and other editorial design works(brochure, thanks card and post card) is a little different from the motion graphic work. Typographic design ideas were used in these works. The main concept is the Growth of Children by using various elements such as green colours, leaves and brunches.

  • Identity Design Project Design project for my future Design Studio, the BOARDThis project is about the identity and characters of the design studio & lab which I would like to open in the future. There are not only the plans of the space but also the video and logo that show the identity of the studio in the project. The features of the space were started from the ideas, movement and motion,but developed and were specified to Skateboard. The reason why I choose Skateboard as the main concept of the studio is that the values or spirits of the place resemble the characters of it. The values are Young, Experimental,Curious, Artistic and Flexible.

  • Typeface Redesign Project Redesign of Typeface_Yoon Myung-jo 520This project is all about the new typeface ,which is created Based on the Yoon Myung-jo520(one of the Korean Typefaces), with the concept of spreding ink. The new one is named by accidently because unpredictably the original shapes of the Korean letters are changed by spreading ink.

  • National Modern & Contemporary Art Museum Logo Design ProjectDuring my internships at the brand design company, I was involved in the logo design project for National Modern & Contemporary Art Museum.Finally, this proposal was not selected, but I put the all the processes of it here. This museum is divieded to four offices and these are placed in the different regions of South Korea. That is why I used the geographical locations as the concept of the logo design. In addition, Korean traditional colours were applied to the design.

  • Brand Identity Design Project Brand identity redesign for CRUGEN, a tire brand of Kumho TiresDuring my internships at the brand design company, I was also involved in the redesign project for Brand identity of CRUGEN, a tire brand. To match the main concept of it, I tried to design the BI which has Manly and Speedy meanings.

  • Poster Design 50things about meAs the second concept, I chose an image that is based on varying depths of the sea. Through the work process I tried placing each one and making a graphic hierarchy between the 50 things depending on how much each one is a general fact or personal one with scales and visibility. For instance, very personal information is placed in the deepest layer in the sea, obscured by its depth but drawing the audience in to look more closely.

    MANIFESTO ProjectTherefore, I intended to write it down in a gentle and friendly voice so I repeated the word, Friends because I wanted to invite colleagues or friends to my Manifesto and design world so that I could share my ideas and beliefs with them. For this reason, I tried to maintain a bright and vibrant tone.

  • ABOUT MY HERO /I tried making a story about my favorite graphic designer, Julien Vallee. I decided to use the stopmotion method and to experiment, combining real and artificial images. I took pictures of what I made with props in the stopmotion room and I also took a picture sequence on the street and in my house. I also tried adding a twist that might stimulate the curiosity of the audience and used sound effects such as the sound of opening doors to maximize some parts in the film.

  • Free Drawing Expression of ImaginationI freely drew these pictures as following my imagination after looking at pictures of people, furniture and others from magazines. I tried to express different thickness of lines and drew them as I want.
