Care-Net Conference
We would like to thank everyone who voted
for us. MMNPRB presented us with a $5,000
check on September 29th and all the winners
were announced on October 2nd on KCRG.
We are so thankful to God for this honor and
we give Him all the glory!
Alternatives has an umbrella
organization called Care-Net and
every year for the last 40 years
they have had a conference for
their affiliates. This year 2 of
our staff and 2 volunteers, Jerry
and Maria attended the
conference on September 9-11 in
San Diego, CA. Care-Net
envisions a culture where women
and men faced with pregnancy
decisions are transformed by the
Gospel of Jesus Christ and
empowered to choose life for
their unborn children and
abundant life for their families.
We had a great time learning,
being equipped, and getting
refreshed.
We got to meet and be taught by
Steve Arterburn, the author of
Every Man’s Battle.
Janet Lyons was
honored for her 5
years of service as
our
Executive Director!
Thank you Janet for your hard
work and dedication!
