Digital Cameras Needed: Peace School is
offering a photography elective class to
middle-schoolers this fall, and we need digital
cameras. If you have one you’re not using,
please consider loaning it to the photography
class. Any digital camera will do. Peace art
teacher Beth Hazen says the goal is to return
cameras in the same condition as received.
However, please provide the replacement
cost for your camera in the event something
does happen to it. If you have a camera to
loan, please drop it off at the school office or
church office, and note that it is for Beth
Hazen, Art Department.
Calling All Golfers: The 17th Annual Valley
Lutheran High School Golf Scramble is
planned for Saturday, September 17, at Apple
Mountain Golf Course. Join the “Valley
Family” for a great day of fellowship, fun and,
of course, golf! Proceeds from this event help
to make the ministry of VLHS possible for
students who might not otherwise be able to
attend. Entry fee of $110 per golfer includes
18 holes of golf, cart, continental breakfast,
and a buffet lunch – plus, you are supporting
a great school! Sponsorship opportunities are
still available! Details: 790.1676.
SUPPORTING PEACE
MINISTRIES
Mites: LWML Mites Boxes will be collected
next weekend, September 3-4. Please
place your loose change in the Mites Box
located in the Welcome Center at the school

supporting mission projects through the
LWML.
