Our Christmas Service will be celebrated in conjunction with our 10:30 a.m. Worship Service on Sunday, December 23, 2018. We will not have Christmas Eve service. We are asking all church members and friends to celebrate with us as we honor the birth of Jesus Christ.

†Please join the Sunday School Ministry for their Holiday Fellowship on next Sunday, December

16, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.  It will be held in the Myles Fellowship Hall.  Everyone is invited to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.  This time together will be festive, with an air of celebration.  Of course we will have caroling... supplied by each Sunday School classroom.  We invite you to come together to celebrate Jesus Christ, our Lord! Ms. Armstrong, the noted voice heard on the opening TV show sitcom “Amen” and Oprah Winfrey’s “Women of Brewster Place”, will be singing all of her greatest hits: PEACE BE STILL, NOBODY BUT JESUS, PRAYER STILL WORKS, I HAVE THE FAITH and the list goes on!!! This power packed final Worship Service of 2018 will also feature the MSBC Mass Choir, Shekinah Glory Dance Ministry, the anointed Mime Ministry and the FINAL PREACHED WORD for 2018 by Pastor Jerome (Sam) Tarver. What a time, what a time, what a time. Come early to get a seat!!!  Doors to the Sanctuary will open at 9:30 p.m. with Watch Night Service beginning promptly at 10:00 p.m. Bring your praise as we glorify God for bringing us through 2018!!!!! Pendergrass Scholarship Fund (KAPSF) would like to thank our Maple Springs Baptist Church Family and Friends for your continual and diligent support since the Fund's inception in 2002. This year we were able to grant three students with $500.00 Scholarship Awards, with two students from MSBC; Seylon Edmundson, and Gabrielle Stewart.

†The Home, Hospital and Prison Ministry, an outreach component of the Missions Ministry, conducts scheduled church services at various rehabilitation centers, hospitals and prisons where such services are allowed. We are seeking dedicated and committed individuals to join us as we engage in this important Kingdom building ministry. †Maple Springs Community Service Corporation

Maple Springs Youth Service Award 

In collaboration with the Secular Education and Youth Ministries, the Pastor of Maple Springs Baptist Church will make a donation to the Maple Springs Community Service Corporation to fund the Maple Springs Youth Service Award(s).  This award recognizes youth for their service to their church, community, performing unselfish acts and deeds, academic achievement and financial need.  The recipient(s) of the Youth Service Award must demonstrate the principles, values and character that were exemplified by Jesus Christ in their church, school and community.  Preference is given to recipient(s) who are first-time applicants and who demonstrate their commitment and dedication to the Maple Springs Baptist Church Youth Ministry, to the church, or to the community at large.  Applicants who have a financial need, are active in their school and community; have strong academic performance and educational and career goals; and are self-motivated receive strong consideration.  Students applying for these awards can attend any accredited college, university, vocational/technical school they wish, anywhere in the country and major in any subject.  Students are eligible for these awards if they are a member of the Youth Ministry or active within the church.
