Mindsinger Requirements:
Bluff 5 ranks
Diplomacy 5 ranks Perform (any) 5 ranks
Sense motive (5 ranks) Bardic music 5/day
Class Features Bardic Knowledge (Su): A
Mindsinger continues to collect the odd bits of lore and knowledge that
bards acquire. She can add her Mindsinger class level to her bardic knowledge checks, so her bardic
knowledge checks have a bonus equal to her bard level + her sublime
chord level + her Int modifier.
Bardic Music (Su): Mindsinger levels stack with bard levels for purposes of
determining how many daily uses of bardic music the character has.
Bardic Lure (Charm Person)(Sp): A 2nd level Mindsinger with 7 or more
ranks in a perform skill can expend a daily use of his bardic music ability to
replicate the effects of the charm person spell on a target within 90 ft. The target must be able to see and
hear the bard. If the creature fails a Will save against a DC of 10 + the
mindsingers ranks in the Perform skill is charmed for as long as the
Mindsinger sings plus a number of minutes equal to one fifth of the perform check result after the
mindsinger has stopped performing.
Mental Hearing (Sp): A mindsinger is so well tuned to the frequencies of the
mind that he is capable of hearing and emit the frequencies produced by the rational minds. In practice this ability
functions just as telepathy out to a range of 10ft/lvl, a part from the fact
that to use this ability the Mindsinger must be capable of hearing (thus effects that block sound or hinder the
Mindsinger hearing capacity affect this ability as well). The intensity of
these sound waves is similar to that of
normal speech (even though the mindsinger can "shout" to make
himself heard beyond a barrier he might be required a listen check to hear the answer, which is always
treated as normal speech for this purpose)
Audience reading (Sp): A 3rd level
mindsinger with 8 ranks in a Perform skill can read the surface thoughts of
a living creature witnessing one of his performances, spending one daily use of his bardic music. This is a mind-
affecting ability that requires a swift action to use. The mindbender must
be able to see the target and the target must be able to see and hear the mindsinger performance; a
successful Will save (10 + the mindsingers ranks in the Perform skill) negates the effect. Creatures of animal intelligence (Int 1 or 2) have only simple, instinctual thoughts.
Maintaining the effect requires concentration; the maximum duration
is the mindsinger performance plus 10 minutes.
Bardic Lure (Charm Person) (Sp): A
2nd level Mindsinger with 7 or more ranks in a perform skill can expend a daily use of his bardic music ability to
replicate the effects of the charm person spell on a target within 90 ft.
The target must be able to see and hear the bard. If the creature fails a Will save against a 10 + the
mindsingers ranks in the Perform skill is charmed for as long as the
Mindsinger sings plus a number of hours equal to one tenth (rounded down, minimum 1 hour) of the
perform check result after the mindsinger has stopped performing.
At 4th level a mindsinger with 9 or more ranks in a perform skill can replicate the effects of charm monster
instead of charm person when he uses is bardic lure song.
Eternal Charm (Su): At 4th level and higher, whenever a mindsinger uses
his charm ability can choose to render
the duration permanent; however, a mindsinger can have only one
creature so charmed at any given time. If he attempts to use this power on a
creature while he has another so charmed, the
first charm is automatically broken (regardless of the success
of the second attempt). The effect is also
broken if a mindsinger or one of his allies injures the target.
Dispel magic has no effect on an eternal
charm, though break enchantment frees
the victim (treat the mindbenders caster level as 5 + his class
level for this purpose).
At 6th level and higher, a mindsinger can have up to two
creatures affected by this power at any given time; if he attempts to charm a third, the previous victim
under his influence the longest is freed. At 8th level, he can control up
to three creatures with this ability, and at 10th level up to four creatures.
Sudden Suggestion (Sp): At 5th level
and higher, a mindsinger with 10 ranks in a perform skill can influence
the actions of a living creature able to see and
hear one of his
performances. This ability functions like a
suggestion spell, except that the range is 100 feet and the duration is as long as the
mindsinger performs plus 1 hour per class level. The
mindbender can communicate the
suggested course of
action telepathically if he chooses, which allows
him to use the effect regardless of the
targets language. A successful Will save (DC 10 + the mindsingers
ranks in the Perform skill) negates the effect. Using
this ability costs two daily uses of the mindsinger bardic music.
Dominate (Sp): At 7th level, a mindsinger with 12 or more ranks in a
perform skill becomes able to dominate any single living Large or
smaller creature able to hear and see the mindsinger performance (as dominate monster) by spending four
daily uses of his bardic music ability. A successful Will save (10 + the

Thrall (Su): At 10th level, a
mindsingers mental mastery reaches its pinnacle. He can choose to make
the duration of his dominate ability (see above) permanent, but only on one target at a time. If a mindsinger
chooses to dominate another creature and make that effect permanent, the
previous thrall is freed from the effect.
