What is a mind map?
A mind map is a tool that allows you to put information into your brain and retrieve that information from your brain when you need it.

• Colour• A central image• Structure that radiates from the centre• Curved lines• Symbols, words, images – using brain friendly rules• They mirror your brain’s natural way of doing things.

Neurons: Building Blocks of the Brain
• There are an estimated 150 – 200 billion neurons and their connections within the brain which transmit information through the brain by means of chemical signals called neurotransmitters.
• 100,000 – 1,000,000 chemical reactions take place every minute.
