Adjust the Q-POD unit arm (rotation and height)or all commonly-used laboratory glassware andplasticware.
Set the optimized water quality beore delivery bypressing the water recirculation button on the base othe Q-POD unit.
Select the desired volume by simply using the + and keys and then pressing the central key. The lastdelivered volume is recorded to acilitate re-use.

QUALITY
OPTIMIZED PURIFICATION

REQUIRED PURIFICATION STEPS...
You need a exible system that can match thediversity o your applications. This is possible with avariety o purifcation media!
Pure water, ideally rom an Elix purifcation system,enters the Q-Gard pretreatment pack (1) which ischosen based on the eed water source.
Pretreated water then passes into a dual wavelengthUV lamp (2), which ensures organic molecule oxidationand bacteria destruction.
Next, the Quantum polishing cartridge (3) removesionic and organic contaminants below trace levels tomatch the water quality required or your application.

The ultrapure water produced by the system recirculatesthrough a loop up to the Q-POD unit, where the fnalpurifcation step required or your particular applicationoccurs

TOTAL CONTROL
Double monitoring allows control over both ionic andorganic contaminants that can impact your results.
PREVENTING ORGANIC BREAKTHROUGH
The proper measurement o TOC levels is key or
confrming that the systems organic removal processis operating within specifcations.
The integrated TOC meter accurately monitors rom 1to 999 ppb. The design takes into account USP suitability requirements.
TOC measurements are perormed automatically on acontinuous basis during production and intermittentlyduring periods o non-use. This lets you check theorganic content o the water regularly, while avoidingthe risk o your work being compromised by anundetected organic breakthrough.
The TOC monitor uses a 0.5 ml quartz cell to captureultrapure water.
When the A10 UV lamp is on, photocatalyticoxidation o organic compounds occurs.
The end product o organic oxidation is carbon dioxide,which dissolves in water and causes conductivity toincrease. This change in conductivity (temperature-compensated to 25 C) is monitored continually by thetitanium electrodes in the TOC monitor.
A set o algorithms confrms complete oxidationand calculates the carbon level associated with thisconductivity change.
