Dress is formal -

Males = Class “B” uniform (green or blue), with a tie all awards and decorations. Male Guests will wear a suit and tie.

Females = Formal Dress/Gown (within dress code)

Photographer will be present for pictures – Price will be based on package chosen.

1. When purchasing a Military Ball Ticket, EVERYONE (including students who are 18) must have this contract signed by a parent/guardian with emergency contact phone numbers. If you are bringing a guest who does not attend Ft. Pierce Westwood High School, that guest must also have a signed contract.

2. Ft. Pierce Westwood may deny admittance of your guest. In that case, you and your guest will be informed and your ticket cost refunded.

3. NO ONE will be admitted to the Military Ball if there is any suspicion that he/she has used alcohol or drugs. A Breathalyzer or other screening device may be used. Individuals will be held in a separate room on site until an adult comes to pick them up. Anyone whose behavior at the dance is unreasonably unruly will be held in a separate room until picked up by an adult. THE MILITARY BALL IS A SCHOOL FUNCTION! SCHOOL DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS WILL RESULT IF SCHOOL RULES ARE NOT FOLLOWED! REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN TO PEOPLE WHO ARE SEQUESTERED DUE TO INTOXICATION OR UNRULINESS.

4. Everyone attending the dance can be subject to searching, prior to entering the dance . Items that are against school policy will be confiscated and not returned.

5. No one over 18 years old will be permitted to purchase a ticket or attend the Military Ball. 6. No party buses will be permitted to bring attendees to the Military Ball. Limousines are permitted,

but are subject to search.7. Formal attire required-Cadets: Class “B” uniform,(GREEN OR BLUE) with all awards and decorations,

and a tie.Male Guests: Tuxedo or suit (No jeans or sneakers); Females: Formal dress (within dress code)

8. No one is permitted to leave the Military Ball. If for any reason you have to leave the Military Ball, you will not be permitted to re-enter, and your parents will be called before you leave.

9. Ticket Purchasing Proceduresa) Only Ft. Pierce Westwood Cadets are permitted to purchase tickets.b) Ft. Pierce Westwood Cadets are limited to purchasing two tickets (for yourself and a guest).c) This form must be signed by your parents/guardian at time of ticket purchase. A ticket will not

be issued in your name without a completed form.d) At the time of purchase, you must present your Student ID for SY 2012-13.e) If you are purchasing a ticket for a non- Ft. Pierce Westwood student, you must bring a copy of a

valid 2012-2013 Student ID from his/her school or if they do not attend school, a copy of their driver’s license.

f) Tickets may be purchased no later than Friday April 5th, 2013.g) Checks are to be made payable to Ft. Pierce Westwood High School JROTC. Cash will be

accepted.h) Military Ball Ticket Prices: $15.00 per person. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.i) TICKETS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLEj) At the Military Ball you will check in. At that time you & your guest must present school ID or

BEFORE A TICKET CAN BE PURCHASED FOR AN OFF CAMPUS GUEST. Form must be dropped off at Student Services for approval by Ft Pierce Westwood Administrator or SRO.

o) In order to purchase a ticket for a non-Ft. Pierce Westwood student, you must bring a copy of a valid 2012-2013 Student ID from his/her school or if they do not attend school, a copy of their driver’s license. MUST BRING ID THE DAY OF BALL FOR CHECK IN.

Fort Pierce Westwood’s Military Ball is a Formal Attire Event

Before tickets can be purchased, the students agree to abide by the dress code set forth by administration, for themselves and their guests.___________________________________________________________________________________MALES: Class “B” uniform, haircuts and shaves________________________________________________

Male Guests must wear a suit & tie (suit must be worn with a shirt, jacket, tie, and dress shoes).No tennis or canvas shoes, baseball hats, No Jeans, No sunglasses, No shorts & T-Shirts (Gentlemen, No casual clothes are to be worn)____________________________________________________________________________________Females: Gowns require tea (3/4), below the knee or floor length dress only.___________________________

All female Cadets and female Guests of Westwood HS: Formal Gowns are below the knee or floor lengthNo Dress slits above the knee – slit must be to the knee, No exposure or breast and/or midriff, No bare midriff or sides No spandex style dresses, No bustier style tops, no low cut cleavage tops, No bra exposure of any type.

All females attending the Military Ball must wear a bra, bra cup or their dress must include a built in bra. If there are any questions to the appropriateness of a dress, it is highly recommended that you bring a photo – front and back of the dress or of yourself in the dress to JROTC for Approval.

Any clothing determined to be disruptive of the event by JROTC instructors and/or administrators will NOT be ALLOWED. If the student’s attire does not comply with the requirements set forth in advance, the student and/or guest will be DENIED entrance into the event without monetary compensation.

Westwood High School students are responsible for informing their guest of the ‘MILITARY BALL DRESS CODE’ and the guest MUST sign confirming their adherence to these rules.
