A MAJOR EUROPEAN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT CityLife is the new district of Milan currently under develop in the area previously occupied by the historic Fiera Milano exhibition complex. CityLife covers an overall area of 366,000 square meters (for reference the area on which Canary Wharf London is 285,000 sqm wide). The development company is 100% owned by Generali Group.

CityLife: the architects
THE ARCHITECTS CityLife SpA is the company engaged in the redevelopment of the former historic district of Fiera Milano. The company is managed and coordinated by Assicurazioni Generali, which holds 100% stake in it.
Zaha Hadid is an Iraqi-British architect, winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2004.
Daniel Libeskind is a Polish American architect, artist, and set designer.
Arata Isozaki - Japanese architect - worked under Kenzo Tange before establishing his firm .
Mauro Galantino – Italian architect and professor in Paris, Losanna and Venice
Neil Porter – English architect specialized in design, landscape and urban planning

The Shopping District will be reached in complete comfort thanks to the new Tre Torri metro line 5 station in the central square. THE BIGGEST BUSINESS AND SHOOPING DISTRICT UNDER CONSTRUCTION IN THE CENTER OF MILAN Works are in progress to offer a new shopping experience in the green of Milan’s third city park. The center will have a large square on two levels, a covered gallery with quality shops, a hall for musical performances, restaurants and bars with outdoors overlooking the park and an open-air promenade between the shops. The CityLife Shopping District aims to become the new must for Milan shopping, just a short distance to the biggest Congress Centre in Europe, the MI.CO. with 18,000 seats capacity.
