Our future long term model of care Delivering integrated and seamless care to our local population through:

• The Midland Metropolitan Hospital (MMH) with all of our emergency and acute inpatient services, provided in up to date facilities with a critical mass of services in one place and a greater concentration of skilled and experienced staff.

• Development of our outpatient, diagnostic, day surgery and intermediate care services that will remain at the Birmingham Treatment Centre (BTC), Birmingham Midlands Eye Centre (BMEC) and adjacent Sheldon Block, Rowley Regis Hospital and Sandwell Treatment Centre (on the current Sandwell Hospital site).

• Development of the services we provide in people’s own homes and other community locations i.e. our community services.

We will deliver all of these services in partnership with other local organisations.
