– cca 250 metadata datasets of central administrative bodies• problems with lack of metadata deposited on

departments• problems with missing or unsufficient duties/rules for

providing/updating metadata– cca 3200 metadata datasets of district offices

• captured for analysis of district geodata content (due to reform of public adminstration, districts will be closed on 2002-31-12)

• GIS data will be delegated to successors (mainly regional offices)

• Data acquisition– Organized in the half of 2001– Information of Datasets, HW, SW, people resources– MS Word Forms, data converted to MIDAS

• Analysis results– Data present big amount of finance as well as work– Variable extension and quality of GIS database– Uncompatible database contents and structures– Copyright and property problems– It is very hard to adopt the data to new structures (regions)– Regional offices faces to similar situation as districts before
