Districts Covered :Bishnupur and Thoubal1.5% of the schools visited were not serving meals regular due to irregular supply of food grains and cooking cost in Thoubal2.There is delay in the release of cooking cost 3.Quality and quantity of food was not good and children are not happy with MDM served in their school.4.Payment to cook-cum-helpers is not regular. Most of the schools have only one cook in Thoubal district.5.The food grains are stored in houses of cooks/ Head Master/SMC chairman/school office room etc.
