Pastor Reese describes herself as “a down South, southern country girl.” She grew up in Luthersville, in Meriwether County, the product of a single-parent household. Pastor Reese had two brothers.

She attended Luthersville Elementary School and Newnan Christian School and graduated from Greenville High School in 2002.

She began working while still in high school, and after graduation she worked at positions with EGO and D&H Shipping and Receiving before moving into her present position as an Assembly and Quality Inspector at Yamaha.

Pastor Reese says she first felt called by God to serve in Christian ministry at age 13. A spiritual mentor nurtured and “pushed and trained me and spoke into my life.” After

struggling with her faith and trying to find her calling in life, the pastor took up the Christian call, working as a servant and minister before becoming an ordained pastor.

She is still employed at Yamaha and enjoys her work but hopes to one day become a full-time pastor. She believes Leadership Coweta will help her achieve her goals.

“I am expecting that my perception will change, and to be honest, I am open to change,” she said. “I think Leadership Coweta will reassure me why I was called to be a pastor. I look forward to learning different things about my community and city and to becoming a great leader for this county. I look forward to doing things I’ve never done before.”

Pastor Reese is thankful for the Leadership Coweta opportunity and plans to pay the experience forward.

“One day I hope to show you all that your investment in me was profitable and helped groom a leader to the nation,” she said.
