MICROSOFT ONEDRIVE FOR BUSINESS
OneDrive for Business, formerly SkyDrive Pro, provides users with 25GB of cloud storage.
Please note that OneDrive for Business (enterprise software) is not the same as the OneDrive
service Microsoft offers to individuals.

1 Using the Internet Explorer web
browser, Go to
http://www.shu.edu/ select the
PirateNet link in the upper right
corner

Sign in with your Seton Hall
University shortname and
password
2 From the Single Sign-on
Application Dashboard, select
the Microsoft Office365 button
to launch your Office365 page

3 Select the OneDrive link in the
navigation bar at the top of the
page.
This is really OneDrive for Business,
although it’s labeled as OneDrive.
IF you see a folder / file structure
as shown here, your OneDrive for
Business space is set up!
4 IF you see the following screen,
with a brief “Getting Started”
video from Microsoft, your
OneDrive for Business space is
being set up.
Select the refresh link at the
bottom of the page

5 When prompted, select either
the OK or No Thanks button to
continue
6 When you see a folder / file
structure as shown here, your
OneDrive for Business space is
set up and ready to use!

Office 2013 (Windows 8)
1 From your OneDrive for Business
page, select the Sync button in
the options bar just below the
“Documents” heading
2 Select the Sync now option on
the pop-up
IF PROMPTED to login, use your
[email protected] as your
username and your PirateNet
password as your password
3 File synchronization will start to
run. Select the “Show my
files…” button to view your
OneDrive for Business folder on
your laptop
Files that you save to your
OneDrive for Business folder
will be backed up to the cloud!

Office 2010 (Windows 7)
If you are using Office 2010 (Windows 7), it is necessary to first install the OneDrive for
Business Sync Client. from:

2 Scroll down and select the
OneDrive for Business
(formerly SkyDrive Pro) x86
option in the English section
3 Install the sync client, launch
the Internet Explorer web
browser and then log into your
Office365 page
4 From your OneDrive for Business
page, select the Sync button in
the options bar just below the
“Documents” heading
