New Products attracted attention
Twin and quad multi-wire cross heads are an option to duplicate
production speed.
Standard microdia inner head
components like distributors, collets and tightening nuts fit in-to the special multiple wire
blocks.
microdia sls twin head on the booth: extrudes two
single layer, single layer + skin or single layer +
stripe wires.
On the top of the head block a complex distribu-
tion connects extruders to the 2 or 4 head exits.
Channels for both main layer and skin/stripe have been calculated in such a way that the pressure is perfectly balanced to guarantee the
correct overall diameter of each wire.

Customized adaptors make it possible to match with all kinds of
extruder lay outs.
Mini clamps allow quick extruder/head connec-tion and easier clean-

microdia Asia Pacific opening

To be closer to its Chinese customers, microdia has opened a new
office in Swiss Center Shanghai located at Waigaoqiao 上海外高桥
保税区, part of the new Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone. Swiss
Center Shanghai (SCS) is a non-profit organization supporting Swiss companies in business set-up, expansion and operations in
China.
microdia Asia Pacific will be run by Yuca Chen & Brian Zu , both
very familiar with microdia‘s products as they handled its busi-
ness for respectively 10 and 7 years on behalf of microdia ‘s
agent in China.
There is no doubt that Miss Chen and Mr Zu will efficiently
take charge of microdia Asia Pacific and give an excellent sup-
port to all microdia’s valuable customers in P.R.China
This new Shanghai office will be the link between microdia’s head quarters in Switzerland, give support to our numerous Chinese customers and keep a comprehensive stock of wear parts and spares.
