Workspace Technology provides a range of Micro Data Centre and wiring closet cabling services including new installations, cabinet re-builds, relocation, or extension of existing cable infrastructure.
We offer a range of equipment rack technologies including enclosed and open frames. Workspace Technology also offers a range of SmartBunker single rack self-contained systems pre-configured with all the necessary power, cooling, security, and associated management tools (DCIM) manufactured by Schneider Electric.

Workspace Technology offers Schneider Electrics’ leading range of Micro Data Center Xpress products. Micro Data Center Xpress consists of a range of single self-contained and secure enclosures ideal for Edge and IoT applications where deployment speed, reliability and security is paramount.
Providing a range of customisable Micro Data Center Xpress designs including the physical enclosure, UPS, PDU, cooling, software, environmental monitoring & security.
Options include:
NetShelter SX – 24U and 42U Standard Enclosure offering a range of UPS, power distribution and environmental monitoring. FX version offers integrated cooling.
Netshelter CX – 24U and 38U Sound Proofed ‘Server Room in a Box’ Enclosure ideal for meeting room and office environments.
SmartBunker FX – 23U and 42U Secure Insulated Enclosure complete with UPS, power distribution cooling and environmental monitoring. The SmartBunker FX protects sensitive IT equipment from harsh environments, vandalism, and natural disasters.
Micro Data Centre Power & Cooling
Power - We offer full electrical design and consolidation of power infrastructure including upgrades, replacement distribution boards, and rewiring services. We provide standalone and rack-mounted UPS systems suitable for a wide range of wiring closet and Micro Data Centre applications.
As a participant in APC’s Elite Data Centre Partner programme, Workspace Technology provides exceptional levels of service and expertise helping clients select the most appropriate UPS systems to support their needs.
Cooling & Airflow Systems - Cooling selection is typically based on total heat load (kW), room dimensions and airflow arrangements in order to ensure the design is as efficient and well managed as possible.
Principles such as hot and cold aisles and ‘air separation’ through aisle containment can be as easily deployed within a Micro Data Centre as they can in a typical Data Centre.
Environmental Monitoring & Security
Workspace Technology integrates APC’s leading range of NetBotz premium security and environmental monitoring technology. NetBotz provides video surveillance and monitoring, temperature, humidity, door contact, VFC (dry contact), vibration, smoke, 2-way audio monitoring, spot leak and rope leak monitoring.
