The Office Staff/Medical Assistant program will offer a max-imum of 8.25 continuing education contact hours, pending approval by the Commission on Accreditation of Podiatric Medical Assisting Certification.

Continuing Education ChangeFor several years, MPMA has used a sign-in booklet, which has been well-received by Great Lakes Conference attend-ees. However, this year, the process will change slightly, as the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) requires a daily process. Therefore, physicians will continue to use the CME booklets, but they will be required to obtain a new CME booklet each day prior to attending lectures. CME booklets must be returned prior to leaving each day to re-ceive credit.
