Expert on internationalization of the Italian companies and attraction of foreign investments to Italy, Michele De Gasperis is the ideal consultant for institutions, private companies and public administrations.

Born in Rome on 29 November 1966.

He graduated in International Finance at Nottingham Trent University, at the Italian Campus in Rome. He has a degree in Tourism Sciences and a MBA by the European School of Economics.

These degrees allowed him to acquire all the necessary knowledge to better interpret the changing international business contexts.

In 2006, he was awarded the Diploma AEREC (European Academy for the Economic and Cultural Relations) and is a FERPI professional - Italian Public Relations Federation.

Among the numerous business and liaison activities with institutions in which he took part in Europe, South America and Asia, he was partner of Apple Computer and Adobe System, Marketing Director and Board Member of the European School of Economics, Marketing and International Relations Director for F.Agr.I. (Italian Agricultural Supply Chain) and Ambassador of the Italian National Gallery of Modern Art

In Public Administration, he was Director of External Relations for the Mayor of Fiumicino (Rome) and Marketing, Communication and Technology Innovation Consultant for the Vicepresident of the Senate, the Minister of Public Administration, the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs, the Italian National Agency for Microcredit and for a member of the European Parliament, as well as member of the Italian-Chinese working group in health and social policies, President of Etica and President of the Italian-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce.

As President of an Italian-foreign Chamber of Commerce, he has strong relations with China, an essential partner in Asian commercial diplomacy framework. In 2016, the Overseas Investment Union of the Investment Association of China, under the NDRC (National Commission for Development and Reform of the People's Republic of China), appointed him as Chief Representative Officer of its Office for Italy.

He is also member of the Italian Ministry of the Economic Development’s Task Force China, founder of Italian OBOR (One Belt One Road) Institute, President of the Global Media Alliance Group, member of Italy-Mongolia Intergovernmental Commission, member of World Expo Commissioners Club, Honorary President of the Chinese Art in Italy Foundation and President of HUB.

A SPECIAL ACTIVITY: THE POSTAGE STAMP FOR THE 25TH

ANNIVERSARY OF ST POPE JOHN PAUL II’S PONTIFICATE

On the 25th anniversary of St Pope John Paul II’s pontificate, on the initiative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he coordinated as President of HUB the design of the postage stamp – exceptionally signed by HUB – to celebrate the Pope as Ambassador of the Italian language in the world.

Printed by Italian National Postal Services, the initiative has proved a success for the Italian Government and the Holy See, with over a million greeting postcards purchased and addressed to St Pope John Paul II.

The Italian OBOR Institute, founded in 2018, stems from the need to create a network for experiences, proposals and contributions of all the stakeholders interested in the Chinese project One Belt One Road and in the issues related to its development in Italy.

With its Study Center, the Institute is aimed at Italian and Chinese public institutions to ensure that Italy plays a key role in this new economic scheme.

The Institute carries out networkingactivities between Italian and Chinese subjects developing markets affected by OBOR, coordinating missions in China and Italy, welcoming foreign delegations, organizing workshops, conferences and seminars with OBOR-related sector professionals, participating in publicationson One Belt One Road.

The city of Xi'an, famous all over the world for the Terracotta Warriors, is one of the most important Chinese centers of design, architecture and universities.

Precisely for this reason, the local Municipality in October 2019 established the International Expert Advisory Group, a committee of high-profile international experts in charge of identifying and promoting the best opportunities for international cooperation for Xi'an in all sectors within the Belt and Road program.

During the first meeting, Xi'an authorities appointed De Gasperis as President of the International Expert Advisory Group.

The International University for Peace Rome is the delegated structure to represent the UN Body University for Peace - UPEACE in South East Europe, the Middle East, the Mediterranean basin and Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa.

In 2019, the International University for Peace launched its postgraduate specialization courses dedicated to China and the Belt and Road program.

De Gasperis has been appointed Professor and Director of the Belt and Road Department of the International University for Peace Rome.

De Gasperis is China Manager for Fiera Roma, the Italian capital's main exhibition center.

In the light of his role, he promoted and worked on the development of the "One Belt One Road Exhibition 2019", an international event organized at Fiera Roma from 15 to 17 May dedicated to Italian-Chinese institutional, commercial and cultural relations and the dissemination of knowledge on the Belt and Road program.

OBOR Exhibition will have a second edition in 2020 dedicated to the tourism, culture and life-style sectors.

The Italian-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce, recognized by the Italian Government by decree of the Ministry of Economic Development in March 2010, is the reference point for all companies interested in trading with Mongolia.

Its mission is to promote development and growth of commercial, economic and cultural relations between the two countries, looking for opportunities for Italian companies interested in the Mongolian market and for the Mongolians businesses who want to work with Italy.

In this role, De Gasperis is member of Italy-Mongolia Intergovernmental Commission.

With its twenty-year experience, HUB provides solutions to institutions, small, medium and large companies proposing tailor-made strategies, optimizing resources and exploiting every single opportunity for the customers.

Over the years, HUB has diversified its offer, guaranteeing a wide range of services in three different sectors:

In 2003 he founded Etica, of which he is also President.

Etica, non-profit organization, supports and implements socially useful projects in the defense of human and civil rights, in particular for children and socially disadvantaged groups, both in Italy and abroad.

Etica has received permanent NPO recognition from the Italian Government, and its activities are therefore also supported by the Italian Agency of Revenue.
