Install and rig all flight controls. Install engine with FADEC system, install propellers. Build up, locate and install belly panel and cowlings. Build test jigs for new concept investigation for this evolving aircraft. Present when company awarded production certificate.

Northrop Grumman, St. Augustine, FL 09/2002-02/2003Worked as A&P mechanic on F-5 fighter aircraft performing all types of line and overhaul maintenance. Removed engines, wings, flight controls etc. Installed and rigged gear doors, flaps, slats and rudders. Transferred to the new product production line in December as a Senior Riveter/Installer on the E-2 line. Built several sections of the center wing section from print and installed on the aircraft.

Lockheed Martin Logistical Management 11/2001-06/2002Conducted all types of airframe and line maintenance on Army UH-60 and CH-47 aircraft assigned to Southern Command in Honduras. Also cross-trained on T-700 engines.

Midwest Express Airlines, Milwaukee, WI (Airmate) 08/2001-10/2001Heavy structural repair of DC-9 and MD-80 aircraft conducted IAW the appropriate SRM or engineering order. 100% layoff of contract personnel after September 11th.

Timco, Lake City, FL, Greensboro, NC (Airplanes) 02/2001-08/2001Second shift lead structures mechanic on Spirit Airlines Project. Led and participated in the removal of Boeing Smoke detection and fire suppression systems and the installation of Barfield Systems on MD-80 aircraft. Heavy structural repair of 737 and 767 aircraft after transfer to North Carolina.

Vertical Aviation, Sanford, FL (Onsite) 10/2000-02/2001Rebuilt, modified and repaired S-55 Helicopters for sale in private sector.

AAR, Oklahoma City, OK (Smart) 07/2000-10/2000Heavy structural repair of 737, 727 and EC-18 (707) aircraft.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Greenville, SC (Onsite) 05/2000-07/2000Fuel Cell/Structural mechanic. Performed positive and negative pressure checks on internal and auxiliary fuel cells. Installed and removed boost pumps, sump valves, check valves, fuel quantity probes and magnetic drip less sticks. Replaced trunnion bolts, flap hinge bolts, ski fittings, diamond doublers fasteners, t-cap bolts and any fasteners that were common to fuel cells. Aircraft worked on were C-9, C-130 and P-3.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Greenville, SC (LM2) 10/1999-11/1999Senior APG Mechanic on Department of Defense C-9 aircraft. Installed and removed all types of aircraft components such as APU’s gear, flaps, etc.

Mobile Aerospace Engineering Mobile, AL (Airmate) 1/1999-8/1999Heavy structural repair and modification of Northwest DC-9 and Federal Express DC-10 aircraft. Work included removal and replacement of belly skin and e-bay skins. Removal, modification (cold working) of engine upper pylon beaver tail and spar and failsafe strap. TACS and S mode modifications to DC-10 aircraft. Temporary repair of right wing training edge and spar cap. Numerous repairs accomplished IAW the appropriate SRM or E.O.

Pemco World Airways, Dothan, AL (Smart) 10/1998-01/1999Worked as a sub-contractor and direct employee on northwest Airlines DC-9 aircraft. Performed H, C and D checks. Numerous window belt doubler modifications completed per Douglass print. Removed and replaced several belly skins, e-bay skins and tail cone skin sections. Performed dozens of other types of repairs to include corrosion removal and repairs of cracks to pressure and non-pressure bulkheads.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Greenville, SC (Airmate) 07/1998-10-1998Structural mechanic on P-3 upgrade and improvement program. Built prototype avionics racks per Lockheed print. Removed sensor stations, ECS system, crew seats etc. Installed nacelle mounted chaff and flare dispenser, junction boxes and sensor stations.
