3what they say about us
“It was a pleasure to come back to miart, a lively, well-presented fair that attracts more and more international
exhibitors and collectors and has generated consistent sales for us. It is gratifying to see not only that our most
important collectors from all over Europe come here, but that we have established contacts with new collectors.
Moreover, throughout the week the fair was accompanied by high-profi le events and openings: miart has gotten
under our skin and will stay there.”
Johann König, König Galerie, Berlin (established contemporary section)
“The miart team’s extraordinary eff orts produced prestigious results in terms of the quality of presentation, putting
the fair on a par with the world’s top art fairs. The galleries were rewarded with excellent sales, also thanks to the
work they put into their installations. Milan is Italy’s art capital and a landmark for international collectors.”
Nicolò Cardi, Cardi Gallery, Milan-London (established masters section)
“We’re happy to be back in Milan, we believe the fair is growing, and this has allowed us to reinforce our relationship
with our collectors and establish some interesting new contacts. We can’t wait to come back next year!”
Andrew Kreps, Andrew Kreps, New York (established contemporary section)
“miart is the only fair to go to in Italy.”
Massimo De Carlo, Massimo De Carlo, Milan-London-Hong Kong (established contemporary section)
“The art we exhibited in the decades section curated by Alberto Salvadori attracted important museum curators
and art critics from all over the world, who chose Milan Art Week to explore what is now one of Europe’s most
dynamic cities. The fair’s high-level visitors included some of the most refi ned collectors I know. Sales were good, and it was a very pleasant surprise, as the artist we presented had never exhibited in Italy before.”
Jocelyn Wolff , Galerie Jocelyn Wolff , Paris (decades section)
“This is the third time I’ve come to miart. As soon as the opening began we started making important sales to
collectors from Italy, Brazil, the Netherlands, Belgium, and other countries. miart is a profi table partnership
between gallery owners, curators, collectors and critics that raises the yardstick for all art shows. The most
important sign of success for us is fi nding buyers for all the artists we presented, including the work in the new On
Demand section. We can’t wait to come back next year!”
Wim Peeters, Offi ce Baroque, Brussels (established contemporary and on demand sections)
